A relatively recent write up on him, though not much detail. https://www.minorleagueball.com/2018/7/2/17523406/post-hype-player-to-watch-manny-banuelos-p-los-angeles-dodgers

Ah, so NOW you CAN see it. Hopefully that helps you going forward. There is no need for that stuff going forward.

Or maybe another Jake Peter?

You obviously missed the point.

Back to the original topic, I am going to read into September moves and non-moves and say this. 1. Charlie Tilson gets whacked from the 40 2. Adams and Stephens do not get added to the 40 and do not get picked in the Rule 5. 3. It would not shock me to see Carson Fulmer DFA'd.

All I can take from it is that Rick Hahn has a sense of humor.

Just going to say that pretty much everyone on this list is a level or two above where I think the Sox actually shop for pitching this off season.

Of course the moment an article on the 40 man roster gets published, the Sox add another name from outside of the organization, lol.

Either a starter in a Charlotte or a back end guy for Chicago. Maybe a Hector Santiago replacement?

I didn't realize that this list was exclusively viewed as an African American list.

The hair comment ranks up there as one of the slick ways of mentioning race by touching on racial stereotypes instead of just saying it flat out... Things that usually fall into that category include items such as that rap music, being lazy, pull up your pants, the neighborhood doesn't look like it used to, black quarterbacks not being smart, thugs, gang members, etc.

He had A healthy-ish season in 2017, but even then he had a DL stint, and a couple of other short stints for smaller injuries.

It's OK guys, he might have said something with racial overtones, but he didn't MEAN it.

With 3 more years at $16.5 million? Nah, I can't see the Cardinals being willing to give up enough to make it worthwhile to block up an OF spot.

Honestly his health and lack of consistency will mean more than that 2017 season will. He just hasn't been able to stay healthy, and have solid and consistent performances from season to season.
