And both of their defensive play took big leaps forward this year. Anderson was really good almost all year long, and Yoan improved as his bat improved.

Wow. That is going all in as Ex-players.

As long as it doesn't turn into mudslinging and name calling, an informational thread is fine.

A promise that they will land a top FA. Again, there is no guarantee. No one has made such a promise. They have to go through the negotiation process and see what happens. This isn't OOTP where you just keep making the top offer and win.

I don't think anyone has made any promises of any sort. Of course there is no guarantee. Everyone who follows professional sports should know that though.

I think the extra money the teams are getting from outside sources, plus you to imagine that the new TV deal will at very least be an improvement over the last one, I would imagine the Sox ceiling for spending is higher than it was a few years ago.

Bingo.

Even though Bowman didn't get fired today, there is no doubt that firing Q puts him on notice. His time is limited if something doesn't change quickly.

That is the one thing under Q that has always amazed me. With as many amazing skill players as the Hawks have had over the years, the PP has just been amazingly ordinary to awful over the years.

Who is the new coach? I know nothing about him other than his name.

Whoa! I guess we have gotten to the desperation stage.

In baseball, a lot.

I haven't heard a word about it. My guess is they are waiting to see what the Cubs do this winter and go from there.

This is for December and January.

Honestly, I am more excited to hear it from the national guys, because if the locals knew something they would protect their source and not say anything.

For my two cents, I could see us putting our offers on the table to both, telling each of them that the first to sign gets the contract, and doing that.

I want to see this happen like hundreds of more times over the next decade or so.

Uh, no. Cleveland is talking about trading away their top players after a playoff year.

What he is saying is that when this ownership group has decided to spend, they WILL spend. That is what all three of those cases show.

That was Jerry making sure he won, not intentionally bidding too much to spite people. No where in that does it say what you want it to say.

With him, this could mean he is looking for lunch ideas or is worried about Machado. You never know with Anderson on social media.

Where in the world did you get that from?
