^Why people are scared to come forward.

It has nothing to do with ownership. It is all about feeling sorry for yourself over a sport, and continuing to do it for decades

Yeah, that is a bit too far for me.

What is interesting is one of the teams in the mix (The White Sox) will drop out if they get a big deal done with Machado which will reduce the field for Harper. I would imagine the Phillies might be in the same boat if they can move Carlos Santana like they want to. Either way, that makes one less team to be able to spend if Machado signs with them.

The Dodgers might not be spending large for a while. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2018/11/report-document-raises-questions-about-dodgers-payroll-intentions.html

I am more worried about him looking like 2018 Yoan Moncada and getting picked apart by refusing to swing at borderline or slightly out of the zone pitches.

There is no doubt he is a better option for CF than Adam Engel. Engel is a placeholder until the rebuild starts paying off. In theory he could still become a starter if his bat can move up to even the 40 to 45 hit scale, but with each year that goes by the odds of that happening go down.

Along with the Cat at times. Crazy.

I know nothing about the guy, but this right here is enough to red flag him for me, especially when you add in that lots of Japanese pitchers have trouble adjusting to the American pitching schedule.

Reading between the lines, it seems as if while they can't discuss a deal until the off-season, it seems like it is already a done deal.

Also, I am sorry I hurt your feeling again. This is really getting to you.

Until Jimmy has another meltdown.

It wasn't wrong. This is a Trumpian attempt to get me to prove something that you know is true, and would just move the goalposts when I did. No need to waste anytime on it. Besides, seeing it eating at you after this long is enough. I learned long ago you don't need truth. You make it up as you go along.
