Eddy Curry
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 02:05 PM) THe problem with a Bulls team without Curry next year is that it will have absolute garbage in terms of low post scoring and thats something a good NBA team needs to have. Hell, I think even with Curry they still need another good low post scorer. If Eddy could figure out how to hustle for 35-40 minutes a night all of this would be a moot point. As it is now, the Bulls only have to find someone who can score 15 points in 25 minutes, because they sure as hell aren't losing any defense or rebounding...

4 "Mounties" slain
QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 02:42 PM) That was my point when I said something like this has never happened to us before. Gun controls have helped us. Laws are only worth the paper they are written on. In the City of Chicago it is forbidden to own ANY gun, yet they have almost 1000 murders per year, mostly by guns.

*Official* College Basketball Thread
QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 01:07 PM) Ok, so now that the Illini have lost, if they lose in the BTT do they still go in as a #1 seed? No doubt in my mind, they would still be the #1 team in the country. No one else has even come close.

A few interesting articles
Interesting on BMac they have him ticketed for AAA? I would be shocked if he started the season there. I wonder where that came from?

US Troops shoot freed Journo
QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 09:28 AM) It seems like forever, didn't we talk about American military deaths in France from over 50 years ago, as why France should have backed us in Iraq? Didn't we also discuss what Saddam had done in Saudi Arabia more than 5 years ago to justify taking him on again? My point is this ratchets up anti-American sentiment not only in Italy, but in other countries as well. I am not saying that the soldiers acted inappropriately, that more than likely will be up to a military trial, if it even comes to that. So I guess we just throw Mussolini in their face and call it even?

US Troops shoot freed Journo
QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 09:14 AM) Once again the US military kills innocent Italians. France declined to back us in Iraq a couple years ago, yet many people here still think it is relevant, don't you think the Italian government and people will immediatly remember the plane accident? Exactly how long are you able to hold a grudge against a forgein military, just out of curiousity?

Flying Under The Radar
QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Mar 5, 2005 -> 11:32 PM) I agree. You should get out to the HS and watch the regionals next weekend. It's going to be us, SB Clay, Concord, and the winner of the West Side-Munster game Monday night. I'm really stoked about our team, it's cool when my friends are leading the team to the sectional championship as sophmores. Are regionals at City?

Eddy Curry
I have been on record as saying I really think a sign and trade deal will get done with Eddy, and his two months of playing hard on offense has done nothing to change my mind.

AAP: Jeff Bajenaru
On Friday March 4th Jeff made his spring debut throwing the ninth inning against the Arizona Diamondbacks in a 10-9 loss. Jeff held the Dbacks down giving the Sox a chance to rally, only giving a hit and a walk in his one inning of work.

7 year old's phone number
QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 07:46 AM) That's the difference between normal people and the Paris' of the world. She's got her eye on a kid that won't mature for a few more years. She's spotting talent early before his teacher does. She better hope the priest doesn't spot him first. Thank you Mr Southsider, your one way ticket to hell is now boarding.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 5, 2005 -> 08:03 AM) Oh. I'm sure Bonds can be "persuaded" to attend. And a Congressional supena would be a great motivational devise. Its almost a crime for him not to be there.

Where Will the Sox Go?
QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Mar 5, 2005 -> 11:37 AM) Maybe during the day, but I DOUBT you will get a good signal at night. They drop to 10 Watts at night. Thatsa really bad broadcast strength. MAYBE a 5 mile radius. lol 10 watts won't get you a mile. Our college station was 3000 watts, and that got us 5 miles. something like WBBM AM is a 50,000 watt clear channel, I would imagine MVP and SCR are something like that also. Unless you you meat 10 megawatts, or 10000 watts.... that would make sense.
