If Beltan is being offered $13 million a year, what do you think Maggs will get maybe $8 or $9 mil tops? There is no way he would be stupid enough to turn down arbit at that price, and we would be stuck for at least $11.2 million for player that might never be the same again. It would mean at least we wouldn't be able to sign anyone else, if not get rid of players to fill other holes.

Jason, do me a favot one night. If you really want to get a feel for Eddy Curry, watch him away from the ball. Watch the way he moves, watch the way he sets screens. When the shot goes up watch how he reacts. See if he just turns around, or if he searches someone out to put a body on. See if he watches the shot, and tries to run to the spot where he thinks it will go. See if he just stands there and waits for the ball to come to him. Then watch Tyson do the samethings.

Honestly there has been one thing that has bugged me about UI. They don't have one of those pure superstar scorers who takes over a game. I think they might be deep enough to overcome it, as they play their system really well, but that is the one thing that jumps out at me in comparision to the other elite teams. You could see someone like McCants or Warrick going for 35 points on any given night, I just don't know if I see that for anyone from the Illini.
