Our government is incredibly wasteful. Estimates are that 10-12% of tax money is wasted, vs what the private sector could accomplish with the same money. Trust me, the way it is now (gov regulation, private mgmt) while not perfect, is way better than creating another crappy buearocracy to manage it.

Honestly I think with the success of Reed, Sweeney, and Anderson that Borch is becoming more replacible than Rauch. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a deal somewhere.

I don't think a deal could be done with the O's. They don't have the young pitching that we would be looking for in a deal for Maggs. I don't think they are worried about RF because they think someone will step in, and soon enough one of the plethora of OF's we have will replace Ordonez as a superstar. They might also look at middle IF prospects in a deal, but I real suspect they are going the future star SP route.
