My NTN is Krash. My old college nickname NTN location 11172. And being a smart guesser really is the most important part of the game. knowing which answers to eliminate, and which ones have the biggest possibility is almost imporant as how many right answers you know right off of the bat. Another thing I like to do is in games where you pick the category, try and make it something most people wouldn't know, like jazz. I figure my obscure knowledge plus my guessing ability trumps all.

Umm, do the math, we are NOT cutting payroll. The payroll is going up nearly 20% from about $51 mil to somewhere between $58 and $60 mil. The payroll increase is nearly identical to the percentage increase in attendance...

People have been saying Colon is an injury risk for years. I have yet to see it happen. As for Ponson he has had one good year. Colon is a proven horse and big time pitcher. I go for the stud everytime. Ponson just hasn't shown that yet.

I am a finisher. Usually I start slow and rally late. I guess I would be the guy catching you as you lose it . And as for the bosses, it is knowing what is good for me I think if I REALLY wanted to stay it wouldn't be a big deal. But the give and take is all a part of marriage to me, and of course making my mom happy As for the teams thing, I'll have to PM you or something next time we are going NTNing. I think the odds are much better that I will catch you there

OK, now this is just getting rediculous. Ponson IS NOT better than Colon. Period. You are telling me with one game to win, you would put Sidney Ponson out there over Bartolo Colon? NO f***ING WAY.

I think I was in the 150's nationally. Our location actually was in the 40's nationally. And actually I stretched out the night to finish (and win) the 3rd game. After that the bosses (the wife AND my mother) said it was time to go The highest I ever finished nationally was 81 IIRC, and that was on my 13,700 game. I was happy because my 13,500 was the highest score at my location for the month.

After thinking about this a little more... couldn't $5 mil a year have gotten both Sullivan and Gordon? Why wouldn't we do that?

I was there as a kid, and loved it. I have only been back to Galveston Is and the Bolivar Pen since then. I miss the Texas beaches...*sigh*

Actually they were mostly Gutherage's recruits. The big 3 sophomores all committed to UNC before Gutherage got fired, IIRC. I don't know if Dohrety managed to get any of that team committed or not. But I know for a fact that May and McCants both committed during their junior years of HS.
