In general with an at least sizable Christian community on this site, I thought this might be an interesting thread to try. That way we could have somewhere to talk to each other about ideas, ideals, questions, etc. Any comments or ideas are appreciated. Anyway, to my question, I just finished reading the "Gospel of St Thomas". Has anyone else read this, or have any opinions on it? The person who translated it, argues that this could actually predate the 4 gospels because of the simplicity of the writing, compared to the extra information in the Gospels.

That is the Skiles preaching finally getting to him. He is so much more talented than to be a damned spot up shooter. If he penatrates it makes everyone else more open and more dangerous. Like I said, that is how I see things. It is my opinion that if a person isn't in contact with something, then they aren't really a part of it. I have German, Sweedish, English, and Jewish blood from my grandparents, and I consider myself American, because that is who I am. I can see your view point though for ethnicities more than religion though. As far as Jews, if they practive the faith, then they are Jewish, IMO. Maybe I don't have the politically correct or the prevailing opinion, but that is how I see things. Like I said that has a biblical basis for Christians, and that is why I believe it.
