  1. The team with the worst record.
  2. He is hooking everything lately...
  3. Is Tyson out again? He had played in their last two games...

ON the topic of music... I was watching I love the 80's, 1988, and the guy on there from Anthrax just described REM as Rock music for Nerds. LMFAO! I was sooo not with that whole late 80's, early 90's alternative thing, and that just made me laugh for about 5 minutes...
  5. It will be interesting to say the least. I will be curious to see if Eddy and Jamal pick up their play at all. Plus the impact of the new guys on the other players minutes. What will the starting line up even look like? PG Crawford SG Pippen SF Chandler PF Curry C Davis ????? Maybe Davis off of the bench with Hinrich starting at PG and everyone else sliding up a spot?
  6. Beacuse as a pitcher he knows that most pitchers get bigger strike zones from an umpire than a computer. Once again he is trying to protect pitchers. Don't get me wrong, I think the players union now adays represents everything that is wrong with baseball. No meaningful change can occur because they are too busy trying to get something else to reward them for something that should be common sense (such as drug testing)
  7. Exactly. I guess I wasn't real clear, but having them on our schedule gives us more of a chance to catch them, instead of hoping someone else beats them, it give the Bears control of their own fate.
  8. And the Packers next week who are one game in front of us.
  9. You joke, but with Farve having a broken finger, and the Vikings just playing like s*** lately (2-5 in their last 7 games) 9 wins goes to the playoffs in this division, myabe even 8-8.
  10. He is one of the biggest proponants of the union in all of MLB. That is exactly what he is supposed to do, is to protect the people the union he represents. Like it or not he does a damned good job at it.
  11. Well we have been down the Ricky Davis road before, so I will aviod that one but now Antwan Jaimison is probably just a pipe dream for us. I can't see Dallas giving him up for a Davis. Jaimison is a big time scorer and rebounder. And as for Hinrich it was a panic pick trying to get a PG to fill JWills spot. There were many more good players they could have gotten. Hinrich has guts but only 20-25 in the draft talent, not lottery.
  12. hmm I guess that is one way to get the top
  13. Duh, thats why they won
  14. Not the problem. Shill said he would only go to the Yankees, Red Sox or Philly. He is a big time guy in the players union and would never do any favor to someone he blames for the 1994 strike.
  15. Parody strikes again. Duke and UConn both lose early. This is going to be another interesting year in the NCAA's. But just think, guys like Tyson Chandler, Eddy Curry, Tyson Chandler, Carmelo Anthony, and LeBron James could all be playing college ball somewhere, but no.
  16. That was s***ty goalline stand by the Colts. I couldn't believe they didn't give Peyton more a chance than they did. It was obvious with Washington in the middle they weren't going to be able to stuff it up the gut. You either had to bounce it outside or use Manning.
  17. Wow. We might be able to get Bart at $10 mil then, if the market is giving one of the best pitchers around 11.25 mil a year.
  18. Didn't we offer Gordon essentially that same amount of money, and time?

    WORST MOVIE EVER! :puke
  20. The thing is, if they keep there s*** together, they play the two teams in front of them the next two weeks. It is obviously a long shot, but at least this team has shown some heart. At 1-5 it would have been easy to pack in the season and play for personal gain, instead this group of rookies has come in and played their hearts out. The defense the past 5 weeks has been circa 2001. Say what you want about them beating the Cardinals, but they just beat the Broncos in Denver, took the Rams down to the wire, and blew out the Cards. They really are playing some good football.
  21. Does anyone have the amount of Shillings contract extension? Just curious in reference to how much we offered Colon.
  22. The different sizes, side by side looks like s***, try either stacking them, or change one to you avatar. Otherwise it looks like a crappy thrown together jumble.
  23. I disagree, the blame goes straight onto the players. If you don't care and don't hustle, and don't pick up your teammates, you won't win. I heard a saying today. " I would rather have players that make others great, than great players" And how true has that been for the Sox?
  24. By that logic the Red Sox payroll should be near $150 million because not only is their attendance about double what the Sox draw, but also their average ticket price is the highest in all of MLB. As long as people aren't in the ballpark, there will be no huge payroll, and there is no point in being irrational about it. We had a 15% increase in attendance and that is pretty much the payroll bump we are getting.
