I saw a rumor over the weekend that the Sox are trying to trade Ordonez, in order to bring back Bartolo. Supposedly the Sox even offered a 3 year extention that would have deferred some of his '04 money, and kept him "affordable", but Maggs turned it down. Could be a really interesting set of winter meetings.

Honestly I would rather see us keep another speedy OF or IF instead of the leadfoots. We have plenty of guys who can play first. Hell teach Carlos how to play first, if need be. I just see Gload as a classic AAAA guy. Who knows, maybe I will be wrong.

The interesting thing is that they have 4 roster spots left open. That means barring trades or players getting released, we aren't looking at too much on the FA market.

I like Pratt for the same reason that I liked Romano. They are very believable doctors. Most of the others are just too nice, and Galant is one of them. You rarely meet a doctor that doesn't either have a God-complex, is a complete asshole, or doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

Wow 14,600 is a killer score, the best I have been able to manage was a 13,700 and that was last year when they had the Beatles trviva Maybe I will try a Tuesday though. I could use the extra points.

Yeah almost always if I play I full game I get 1K. Usually I am in the 11K point range for a game. They do have a tough one on Sat nights that sometimes I miss out on where they don't give you any clues to the answer, and just eliminate choices.

Nah a bunch of the volunteer and old kids from the youth group I volunteer for, go out on Saturday nites after group. But you are right, the middle of the week is the best time for points. Usually I play for an hour and a half or so, and end up coming home with about 3000 points.
