  1. Because they weren't using him at all. There was a stretch where he pitched twice in a month. Since he went to Anaheim and they started using him, he has been good for them.
  2. Ah, we've got some old guys for members... They must be taking an off day with the Sox There are plenty more Beatle fans out there. When I get home tonight I will try to remember to post at least the top 10 song that we came up with. It would be interesting to see everyone else's top 10's for the Beatles...
  3. One of our favorite things to do on our radio show was to turn the Mics on and sing with the music over the air. Our favorite song to do was Yellow Submarine.
  4. I am one of the biggest, in fact, when I was at IU in Bloomington, I took a class solely devoted to the Beatles. Talk about a great class. There were about 350 people in the class and I loved every second of it. In fact, here's the link if anyone wants to take a look at it: http://www.music.indiana.edu/som/courses/r...ck/beatles.html One of my best friends from college and I actually did a top 64 Beatles countdown on our radio show in college. It was a ton of fun. What's your favorite Beatles album? I'd have to say mine would be Revolver (underrated) followed closely by Pepper, Abbey Road, The White Album and Rubber Soul. It depends a lot on the mood but I would have to say the White Album is far and away my favorite, followed by Revolver (our first dance was to Here, There, and Everywhere), and Rubber Soul. I can see by your fav's that you favor the later stuff like I do. Basically from Rubber Soul on is where I really love the Beatles music.

  6. Kick ass. Thanks for posting this, I have a couple people I have to send this link to... BTW how many other big Beatles fans are out there???
  7. Once again it is amazing how far down the raw power numbers have come this year after steroid testing started. That tells me a lot of people were juicing.
  8. :finger You and your mild winters
  9. Damn, with all those elevens, Williams should have sent them to the craps table to win some money for a 5th starter. Or double down and hope for a face card...
  10. I haven't even heard of any of those bands. Man am I getting old
  11. Well the Jets are no Texans after all...
  12. mine will be found on stub hub......if they go, im going on vacation...... I might be with you HSC for $300 each, for a game that might not be played, I think I would be selling.

    No he is 7 NOW...
  14. Colon, no doubt.
  15. Two words... Brady Anderson
  16. Good luck! Make sure you verify tickets before you bid on Ebay though...
  17. Anyone who thinks they should be called up with an era of 9 at AAA, is going to get ripped. Espesially a guy who gives up 3 HR's to Mike Cameron!
  18. To top it off Rod Beck BEGGED the Cubs to take him back. He turned down a couple of teams hoping that the Cubs would call, finally he gave up and signed with the Padres.
  19. Once again IF we are going to go with a four man rotation SOMEONE has to step up out of the pen, if not more than one. We can't have a four man rotation with just Sullivan, Marte, and Gordon pitching decently out of the pen. The middle relief becomes so huge, almost more important than the end guys, because if they aren't effective, it won't matter what the end guys do!
  20. Nah, I actually feel the same way you do. First real pennant race as long as I can remember and people are way too edgy. Damn people enjoy this, it might never happen again! This is why we are baseball fans, this is what we live for. This is meaningful baseball in September!!!
  21. Not at all. Why you looking for a fight?
  22. Jeez, what is the big deal? No one b****ed about it when someone posted the story of the 1959 series, and we lost that one too.
  23. There are tons of spots you can find anyone putting their foot in their mouths if you look around.
  24. And someone other than the usual suspects to step up out of the pen. Paging Schowenwies, Koch, Adkins and company... Scho hasn't been too bad lately. I don't feel comfortable at all with Adkins or Koch in the game. Let's just hope our starters can go deep into games. CWSOX45 Its not a matter of being comfortable. It is a matter of necesity! Maybe even Danny Wright can go back to the pen and give us a lift, but we need some help!
