It's both. Except for the rest helping. Eventually he'll need hip surgery. I don't know why he wont rest. But there is a LOT of speculation of his role with the Sox since he started having this house built within blocks of the park.... Not one player lives anywhere near the park. Most are on the complete other side of the city or in the western burbs. He's got a lot of people confused. Him wanting to live close to where he works is the cause of speculation and confusion? I don't understand that. Did he not see what it did to Joey? Also, this surgery..would it be career-ending, or would it be something that he could rehab from and come back good as new? If Shannon Stewart can play CF, I want him. Is solidifies our defense and the top of our order. If not I wouldn't mind us making a run at Roberto Alomar as it makes the middle of our IF D incredible, and it gives us a great #2 hitter. Maybe he can teach Harris and or Jimenez somethings about 2B and how to be a champion.

Unless there is a bidding war, I would be surprised if the price for Alomar was that high. Look at what Millwood was dealt for, look what Colon was dealt for, look at what Juan gone would have been dealt for. There just isn't much of a market for older overpaid players.

They have had a lot of injury problems over the year with their pitchers at all levels. Thinking back recently, Wood, Leiber, Tapani, and Jermi Gonzalez come to mind.

CWSOX45 I started out in 24, but then my wife has a heights problem so we moved down and sat in the 2nd row for the last inning or so. And I was wondering what got thrown down there also. I thought it was a shoe at first and was hoping it didn't hit anyone on the way down. Holy s***, I was in row 26. LOL. How did I miss you? CWSOX45 I was in my brand new AL All star jersey. We sat in 13 and 14. It was kind of funny I kept thinking I wonder if anyone from the board is sitting up here, lol.
