I think playing in COL Wilson ends up with more HRs and Beltran ends up with more SB's. It is a wash IMO.

I heard Nevin's coming back in August. Ya, theres some talk he'll be sooner. I was at that game where he injured himself and it was brutal. I really like Nevin though, he'd be a great pickup in my opinion. Not saying the Pads would do it, but if they want to get younger it would make sense. Plus he's more marketable for their new park. Still, it would be a tough sell. They turned down Ken Griffey for Nevin. He won't come cheap.

I am our leadoff hitter for our softball team. I play short and use my speed to kill people. If anything I am too aggresive as if I even see a remote chance I am trying to make someone throw me out. But I was in track for years so the speed part isn't a surprise. I just have never been a good hitter, I have zero pwer.

I'd LOVE to have Jones in our line up.

The only player on the Twins I dislike is Jacque Jones but having fun out there isn't a crime. Man, I'd love to get Jacque Jones in left for the Sox. Geeze would he be a huge upgrade over Carlos. Just like Trot Nixon would be. LF hell, Jones is a good CF, who just happens to be playing next to one of the best defensive CF's in the game.

Price fixing is not capitalism... It's part of it... Maybe in the US "capitalism" consists of price fixing. But capitialism is supposed to have prices free float on a demand/supply basis. Now communism...

IMO I think Aaron is a better hitter, right now, than Harris. Now for raw physical tools there is no comparision, Harris has a much higher upside. If someone can ever convince Harris to hit the ball on the ground and learn to bunt well Harris will be a great lead off guy. I just think he is awful in CF. He is costing us runs out there, that is why I said thank god aaron is out there.

Harris cannot track a ball in CF. I don't care how fast you are, if you are breaking the wrong way on a ball, you aren't going to catch it. Rowand's done that enough times this year also. See 1st game back up against Giants Rowand hasn't had nearly as many gaffs in CF as any of the other choices in CF. For the most part he gets much better jumps, and has much better instincts. I am not saying Aaron is perfect, but I can think of 3 times just yesterday that Willie broke the wrong way on a ball.

Heck there are people still bringing up all of the Konerko stuff a year later. And this was after they had supposedly settled and Frank went into training camp and ripped Pauly, Jerry, and Kenny all in one setting. Really on this team the only guy who has more BS to say than Frank is Mark. Pretty much everyone else keeps their mouths shut for the most part. Frank has been quiet as of late though, which is the smartest thing he can do. Just let his play do the talking.
