Isn't that really obvious. The guy has had the same mechanical flaws in his swing for two different hitting coaches spanning about 3 seasons. You don't think someone would have caught it and told him about it? The problem has got to be Frank. If it is obvious to a layman at home, the hitting coach saw it way before then. He just can't be listening.

Sure I am going to spend $50 or more to see a bunch of millionaires go through the motions again. I might as well be a Cub fan then! If they want to play half assed, I am not going to pay to see them do it. I have no problem spending money to see a bad Sox team who plays hard. I will not pay to see a good Sox team play in a fog. I don't blame anyone who is not going to games right now. It is called dollar vote, and it tells the team that I am not happy with the on the field product, and change it.

Esentially we have had about 2 guys hitting this year. The whole rest of the line up has stunk. We have a had a couple of guys had about a hot week or so, but for the most part everyone has been in a fog. Something has got to give before it is too late for this season.

Nevermind, I just saw that Stewart was sent down and Wright was recalled. I guess they want Josh to pitch every 5th day, instead of out of the pen.

I almost lost it when I saw our teams batting average this year. We are 30 or 40 points under where we should be as a team. They just have been awful this year. As for Danny, I hope he is ready to win games 1-0, 2-1!

Right now, I think we will either go 1-5 or 0-6 on this trip. I have to look at the pitching match up's to make it official though. But after playing this flat at home, I can only imagine what we will look like on the road.

Koch is obviously hurting. If this team had an sense he would be put on the DL and let the soreness go out of his arm. I am not sure why we haven't done that, because he is obviously hurting the team right now. Plus we have at least two guys who can close games...

Well it looked like Danny Wright has pitched himself back into the starting 5 as you said, the question is who is out of a job, Garland or Stewart? I think we all know that Sanders will be the one to get sent down, and I am guessing that the loser of Garland and Stewart gets to go to the pen and become the new long reliever.

I think it is interesting the JR is down there talking to JM. I wonder what that really means. I know JR is much more involved in the day to day management of the Sox, so it could be something normal, or it could be a sign. Does anyone else know how common this event it?

I wonder if the league office is getting tapes of these calls. Some of this stuff has just blantantly rediculous. The call on Saturday ended up costing us 4 runs, not that it mattered in the scheme of the game, but still. Is there any team that has these kind of plays blow up in their faces the way that we do?

Well looks like I am going to have to revive the original intent of this thread. This weekend was the most pathetic display that I have seen since the west coast swing last year. I don't know if this team doesn't respect Manuel or what, but it is obvious they either don't think his job is on the line, or they don't care that it is. I know Seattle is a good team, but we just mailed it in this weekend. I am extremely disappointed right now, and am fearing us getting swept out in Oakland and Seattle.
