    This thing is none of those guys have superstar potential, which is the difference. Madrigal is a guy who will be good to very good for the next decade, assuming his body holds up. Heuer is a closer top. In exchange you got one of the best closer in the game for the next two years.

    I think he will be a starting 3B for a long time. I don't think he will ever be a star, but he has the tools to do the job effectively. The kid can freaking hit.

    I mean people say "Cubs rebuild" like it was a bad thing. They got a World Series and 4 straight playoff years, and 5 out of 6. I'd take that. Sure Houston's run is better, but if we get that kind of return on this rebuild, it will have been worth it.
