You have taken a TON of A+ talent out of this line up, and you have a lot of talent that didn't have jobs as of a few months ago. It isn't a surprise me to me that the guys who look like they are doing too much at times, and not enough at others.

Mendick and Garcia are both much better 2bs and Moncada is BY FAR the best 3b on this roster.

So who are you putting in the line up instead? You going with the Garcia at 3rd Mendick at 2nd? I can't really say that makes it better.

Its a numbers and time game at this point. With all of his injuries, we just ran out of time to really see what he was. I don't want to lose him, but the calculus is rough.

Outside of Garcia starting at 2b, which is actually one of his natural positions, what is wrong with the IF and battery?

I am still waiting to be blown away by these awesome strategic manager moves that Tony is supposed to be giving us. I was happy to see him hit the obvious one last night with how he handled Collins/Yas, but the bullpen management has been scary. It has just completely collapsed under him this season.

Pat Foley is giving it one more season. I get it is probably time with some of the off ice controversies, but damn, Pat is one of the best EVER, and it in any sport. What a legend. I feel old losing Hawk, Doc, and now Pat.

If Gonzalez isn't going to playing CF over anyone but Leury, there is no reason for him to be here. Also for the record, by my count, this is quite literally our 3rd string OF taking the field today based on where we came into spring training.

Even if he peaks out at a back up IF that works for me. I think Garcia is probably gone after this year, so a spot or two like that is probably open.

I know many have written off Yolbert, but hopefully with him getting his first real taste of baseball since 2018 if you throw out the DSL, he is finally settling into a routine and comfortability. He's actually had a really good last month especially.
