  1. Blagojevich is a great example of how even morons can get good jobs. This guy is a bumbling idiot.
  2. My beautiful Katharine McPhee will win it all. Guaranteed.
  3. That's why I think Redding will make it over Bajenaru. Redding can pitch multiple innings. I'm pretty sure Bajenaru usually only pitches one or two innings. I think Ozzie and KW want to use McCarthy in bigger situations than just long reliever/mop-up duties. But let the best man win. I don't favor either guy. Whomever has the better ST should win the job.
  4. Second lefty, Redding, and Borchard. I'm thinking Javier Lopez will be the second lefty just because of his submarine/sidearm delivery. The Sox wanted Mike Myers but he signed with the Yankees. If Lopez shows some control in ST, he may be the ideal guy to get one or two lefties out with that wacky delivery. I think Redding will be the long reliever/mop-up man. He is supposed to have his velocity back (hitting 92 MPH again) and he has a good assortment of pitches.
  5. I just think it's interesting that Ozzie actually used the term. Some statheads dislike Ozzie because stolen bases are overrated, etc. but this shows that he isn't just an "old school" baseball mind.
  6. Don Cooper was on Comcast and said that the rotation would be Buehrle, Garcia, Contreras, Garland, and Vazquez to start the season. I'm sure it's open to change though.
  7. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...ity/soxfest.jsp Great stuff.
  8. Why did he get booted from Sporting News Radio's late night programming? Do you know the story behind that? Wheeler was great and he got replaced by a complete no-talent tool (David Stein).
  9. Sorry, yes I read Canseco's book. I was interested in the stories on players like Frank Thomas, Giambi, etc.
  10. Canseco said it in his steroid book.
  11. Ummm, no. Santana has much better stuff than Buehrle and their career numbers show otherwise.
  12. There's a new video of Konerko's arrival to camp at White Sox.com. Just click on "Konerko arrives at camp: 350K".
  13. Heh, everytime someone mentions Grieve's bat speed I think of Canseco's book. Canseco said that Grieve had such a good swing that he could have been a truly great power hitter if he had taken roids. His bat speed was too slow though.
  14. Grieve is a decent hitter. He knows how to draw a walk. But I'd only want to ever see him in LF just like Gload. His lack of defense makes him a poor bench player.

  16. And here's a photo of Crazy Carl pulling a Kenny Rogers...
  17. Ughhh, I'm gonna post them all. Any job worth doing is worth doing right. One second...
  18. Gload, Borchard, and Munoz are all out of options.
  19. I wonder if Sam Smith blew his brains out due to the lameness of the deadline.
