I thought I did something original. We all went to Vegas for my bachelor party and had a group photo taken there. I had that blown up and framed and ave them that. Cheap, but cool.

QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 02:05 PM) Actually no I wasn't. Your post implied, to me, you didn't know there was a tab within Excel but went to a microsoft website to obtain help. Excuse me as the last thing I want to do is try to look intellectually anything around here... :rolly You both are all screwed up. Look at the original post, Steff. That's what we was about. You must've missed that.

My wife's brother was injured this week in the middle east. That night as I was putting my daughter to bed and we were saying our prayers I told her that we have to pray for Uncle Mike real hard. Well, she clenched her teeth and grunted out, "Pray for Uncle Mike!" I almost cried from holding back my laughter. I think Uncle Mike will get a kick out of that when he gets home.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 01:14 PM) Little does their fine governor know that we have been laughing at them for a lot longer than right now... I didn't have time to laugh. I was to busy getting told I'm not a good person.

QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 01:29 PM) You could use the "help" feature in the future. "Help" is for losers!

Oooooooooooooo I didn't even read this. Now I know what you were talking about. Brilliant observation by me that she's going to have her babies in your flower garden, huh? My in-laws had a duck lay eggs in their bushes. I think there were four. They (the momma and ducklings were pretty much there all summer.

QUOTE(False Alarm @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 10:07 AM) southsideirish, your concern for Standard Written English (or, if you prefer, Standard White English) is cute, but i promise it'll survive soxfan101's assault. yasny's advice is sound from the standpoint of forming good habits, but the bottom line's that this is a casual forum, so nitpicking peeps' usage is kinda silly. and yes, harping on homophones is nitpicking. You got a problem with homophones?
-
QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 10:05 AM) s***.. I left that momma duck bread this morning.. they are going to hang around my house all spring and summer aren't they...? She'll be having her babies in your flower garden.

QUOTE(TheBigHurt35 @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 10:06 AM) Feral cats are, by definition, NOT domesticated. feral: not domesticated or cultivated, having escaped from domestication and become wild Did I miss the part about feral cats in the article?
-
QUOTE(TheBigHurt35 @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 09:59 AM) So, I guess that wild birds are "domesticated" as well, since they visit the bird feeder in my backyard and nest in the trees that I planted on my property? They're on their way to being. Why do you think they don't want you to "feed the bears?" They don't want them to become domesticated. Same reason you should take down your humming bird feeder before it gets too cold. If they stick around, instead of migrating, they will die in the cold.

QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 09:58 AM) A cat outside without a collar is against the law.. microchipped or not. Just the same as dogs without collars and tags. IMO.. it's irresponsible. A collar costs $2 bucks.. if you're going to pay the $40 for the shot the least an owner could do is put the tag on. They surely don't make them and hand them out for no reason. In my town, it's required, by law, to have tags.
-
QUOTE(TheBigHurt35 @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 09:48 AM) No, it's not! Read the freaking article! Ever heard of an "outdoor cat"? They're not the same thing as a "stray." It came from your condescending rhetoric. You keep quoting this... ...but it doesn't support your arguement. domesticate do·mes·ti·cate 2 : to adapt (an animal or plant) to life in intimate association with and to the advantage of humans It doesn't mean "house pet" It doesn't mean "outdoor pet" A "stray" is domesticated.
