QUOTE(IdaSox @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:39 AM) You can try this site: http://www.thegamelive.com/baseballmlb.html if you don't want to pay the 15 bucks on MLB.com. I haven't tried any sox games on it, but when I tested it yesterday I got to listen to every game I wanted to. Is this safe? Anyone?

QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:32 AM) Sure it does. It's for the overall good of baseball and getting as much exposer for all teams as possible. Consider that the Yanks and BoSox opened Sunday night. If they would have played Monday afternoon, ESPN would have focused on those bastards again. At least the Sox, and the other teams that played on Monady did not have to put up with that. Then the openers on Tuesday, did not have to compete against all these other teams playing there second game. It's a way of sharing the spotlight. Ha! ESPN is probably still talking about the Yankee - Red Sox opener. I hear ya, though.

QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:43 AM) LOL! I actually feel bad for President Viktor Yushchenko. Is there any chance that his face will go back to normal (and any othe systems affected by the poison)? I don't know. That's really messed up, though. He was a good looking guy before. Yes, I'm confident enough in my masculinity to say that.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:21 AM) MLB does that so more "opening days" can get the exposure. It works for them to spread out the openers without having a bunch of games to create a clutter of games. They always do it this way. That doesn't make it right!

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:34 AM) I hope you are right. For what we are paying these guys, it is nice to see that they are still contributing to society. Considering what they make from public speeches and the like, I'd like to see one of these guys either refuse or donate their pension.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:09 AM) He was a very good governor. I'm also a big Rick Perry supporter. The next Texas race will be interesting. There is a movement in the GOP to get Sen. Hutchinson to run. I love her as my Sen. and hope she stays in Washington. What about Kinky?

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:16 AM) Good point. People never do enough research and instead vote for the familiar names. That's how we get 40 year representatives. ...that don't even show up to vote. That's also how we get politicians that have been forced out of office and convicted of a crime to come out and run again - AND WIN! :headshake

QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:09 AM) I believe Clinton will fall into that catagory eventually. I can agree with that. I think he's changed from the "Me me me" kind of guy since the heart attack, et al.

QUOTE(TheBigHurt35 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:10 AM) The one thing that my wedding taught me is that you can't rely on other people to do things the way you want them done. If you want something done correctly, you need to do it yourself. Our incompetent photographer and DJ, however, did inadvertently give me incentive to make my marriage last, as there's absolutely no way that I'll go through this crap again. So true! We had a bad DJ, but the photographer was cool! She's my aunt. My Dad's sister. I've never met my Dad. My Mom still talks to his sister. She gave us a sweet discount. I think guilt came into play a little bit. She goes to our church too.

QUOTE(winodj @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:01 AM) You can limit your Congressman's term every Second November. It's too bad more people don't realize that.
