I hate when I see a lazy 10 million dollar player, though. Do I think baseball players are worth the money they're paid? Hell no. Do I think they deserve it? Of course. Everyone b****es about athletes making a boat load of money, but never say a word about actors or entertainers. Does Jim Carrey, Tom Hanks, et al really work that hard to deserve 20+ million per movie then take the next 6 months off? Athletes work year round to get better. Not all, but it's obvious which ones do. I closing, no, I don't care what they make.

They say a lot about that season. Gwynn was going to hit .400. McGwire was gonna get 62, Sox win the Series, etc. We'll never know.

Did you know the Sox have not given up a single unearned run for Loaiza this year? I think that's major to his success. Maybe it has something to do with the lack of success for Buehrle (12 Unearned runs).
