Official 2010-11 NFL Thread
QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 12, 2010 -> 04:57 PM) Rod Wilson is terrible, out of position far too often. There's a reason he's a special teamer.

Who is this Langford kid people are referring to? Nevermind, found it. I wish they'd pursue more out-of-state guys.

What's your opinion on psychics
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 11:21 AM) Expound. QUOTE (IChaseBlackWood @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 11:22 AM) I was hoping for a little bit of an elaboration also ..but I didn't wanna push for it! lol I don't like talking about it because I'll be the first to admit that it sounds crazy and like it could be some Hollywood movie, but we found this guy who was declared clinically dead on a very important religious holiday a few years back and then came back to life. He believes to be on a mission from God. The things he knew about my mom and sister were shocking. Without ever having met/talked to them before, he knew things about where they were born, random facts about their childhood and a ton of other things. It was incredible. Brought my entire family to tears. He's traveled all around the world and literally lives in monasteries and churches. He's met with my family twice and I still have a hard time fathoming it. I'm a firm believer. And it actually kind of upsets me when people write things off like that. There's so much about the capabilities of a human brain that we don't know about. s***, I still freak out when deja vu occurs with me.

Multiple Sources: Sox actively shopping Quentin
Per Cowley: Multiple sources confirmed that the Sox are actively looking to trade Quentin for a package w/bullpen help, but "are asking a lot so far.''

i am drunk
QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 10, 2010 -> 04:21 AM) Damn, I may have made a mistake tonight. This girl wanted my dick real bad, but I turned her down to hang out with my boys who are graduating tomorrow. Now I'm kind of regretting my decision, but at the same time, I guess it's a good thing that I put my friends in front of a girl... with any luck, she'll still be wanting it 5 weeks from now when we start back to school. Bros before hoes.

twitter
QUOTE (KipWellsFan @ Dec 9, 2010 -> 12:02 AM) I follow Rosenthal and Cowley. But is it just me or is Cowley a tool? I mean I thought he's supposed to be an objective reporter, but sometimes he's just as whiny as half of soxtalk. Same thing I mentioned in the other thread, twitter has become somewhat of a news source, which it shouldn't be. Yes, there is a lot of reporting going on via twitter, but at the same time, those are all personal accounts. They all tweet about lots of stuff outside of their jobs.

Props To Cowley
QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Dec 9, 2010 -> 12:03 AM) I don't know that this means. Presumably we all know his work first-hand from reading it. The back story isn't that interesting. I mean people have the misconception that he really has no idea what is going on. His Twitter account should not be considered a news source, nor should any Twitter account really, and it seems like a lot of people are basing their opinions on that.

Props To Cowley
It's so funny how far off people are about Cowley. He's got a very unlikable personality, but I'll never question his work. And I know these things first hand. Does anyone here like Scott Merkin?
