QUOTE (SoxAce @ Feb 28, 2010 -> 02:50 AM) You already forgot the stories I told you when I was really killing it Kev? I'm not a legend in some areas for nothin bro. I'll be more impressed if you drank and had to work at 5-6 am. Your still learnin though rook. I think I had about 16 beers and 3-4 shots last night... didn't sleep, went to McDonalds around 7 am, drank again at 11-4pm, went home and crashed till about 11 pm. Great 24 or so hours. You're such a tank. I bet you have a huge dick too.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 27, 2010 -> 10:27 PM) After the trades, we should of ditched Hunter and re-signed the one guy we signed to the 10 day deal. Hunter is here to coach Derrick Rose, and that's the only reason. And I'm perfectly fine with that. I'd much rather give minutes to Law than Pargo. -

QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 27, 2010 -> 04:23 PM) I'm not really up on their overall defensive abilities but, I know that Kouz made only 3 errors in almost 1200 innings last year at 3b and SD traded him instead of Headley. Headley was more disciplined at the plate than Kouz (not saying much) but he is out of practice at 3B - since he was mostly LF the last two years. I don't know if Morel would be much of an overall upgrade over Headley. Headley can hit a bit better and has great patience at the plate. Kouzmanoff is a damn good fielder at 3B. Headley is a bit more versatile though, can play some LF but will be 3B full-time this year.

Serbia with 52.37 and 52.40 in their first 2 heats. Some of the speeds at Whistler have been nuts. Good to see them not flip in their first ever Olympic appearance. It was awesome watching them compete. Not sure what happens now. -

QUOTE (danman31 @ Feb 26, 2010 -> 04:47 PM) But this is a different caliber of beatdown. This game was over in 15 minutes, you can't say that about the Russia game. It's not like Russia showed up in the first either. Well, if Nabokov was bad, then I don't know what adjective describes Kiprusoff and Backstrom in the 1st period. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 26, 2010 -> 04:25 PM) He had 20 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and was +9 in that game against UT in 30 minutes. Shot 6/8 from the field, 8/9 from the line. MVP. -

QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Feb 26, 2010 -> 03:33 PM) Wow. And I thought Canada's performance against Russia the other night was some kind of statement! It'd be different if Finland was on the level of Russia, and Finland actually had any kind of player come to play the sport of hockey in the 1st period. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 25, 2010 -> 11:48 PM) You didn't like the #2 selection of a tall guy with very few offensive skills outside of jumping? I didn't even like him at UConn. Sounds familiar to the Bulls. Except they actually draft the right guy at 2 and trade him for the wrong guy at 4. -
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Feb 26, 2010 -> 11:24 AM) I would hold out for Albert Pujols. I was thinking Lou Gehrig.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Feb 25, 2010 -> 08:57 AM) Dwight Howard became the 1st player since Wilt Chamberlain to score more than 30 points, grab more than 15 rebounds and have a perfect shooting night (he was 11-11 from the floor). Also Kevin Durant had his 25PPG streak stopped at 29 games last night. I also think Durant deserves some MVP consideration considering how he and the Thunder have come on this season. This is the NBA, we all know that won't happen. Ask Carmelo Anthony. -

Canada up 1-0 VERY early. They are playing with the fierceness. Wow, Canada up 3-0. Keith and Toews playing REALLY well. Canada is playing like its a gold medal game. And it's a shame it isn't. -

Horrible loss. VDN should be irate. Multiple possessions late where Rose doesn't get the ball despite being open. Way to f***ing go Miller and Deng. Just a pure s*** 2nd half. Luol Deng: -17 -

QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Feb 22, 2010 -> 09:17 PM) Bulls have played possibly their worse game of the season so far, at least worse Ive seen. Even when they were winning they looked incredibly sloppy and now 2nd half its been terrible. I guess the bulls were due for a letdown. First half was as well as they've played all season overall. 2nd half is just about as bad as they've played. -

QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Feb 22, 2010 -> 07:06 PM) I love his aggressivness towards starting pitching. However, I wish he would direct some of that aggressive behaivor towards aqcuirering a lefty power hitter. Although KW did mention "There is something we don't see right now, you can bank on that- there is something thats going to happen that we don't see right now, so try to insulate yourself, because its going to happen" I wonder what he means by this? Is there a trade in the works for that lefty hitter? Was he just talking about a mid-season deal? He looked smirky. . Check out the video and you can decide yourself. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/news/artic...sp&c_id=cws Wow, watching that clip of Peavy/Buehrle/Floyd all throwing and laughing made me pretty giddy.
