  1. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Feb 16, 2010 -> 08:12 PM) Ditto. Get it done! Bosh + Rose is the best recruiting tool we could possibly imagine. If this deal goes down, I feel very confident we land a big fish in Free Agency. Ya, but you better know for sure you're going to re-sign Bosh if you deal Noah and Deng. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Feb 16, 2010 -> 08:07 PM) Ya, but this gives you a much better chance of keeping him. Plus by doing that deal, the Bulls would still have money to add another big FA in the off-season anyway (at least if you are able to unload Salmons or Hinrich). The only tough part is you are giving up Noah. Ya, we'd still have Miller and James expiring after this season, and hopefully you deal Tyrus for expiring too.
  2. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Feb 16, 2010 -> 12:41 PM) Deng, Tyrus Thomas, and John Salmons for McGrady would work. I don't know if the Rockets have interest in that offer, but it would do wonders for the Bulls and if you got a 3rd team involved (for example, a team that wanted Tyrus Thomas), you could see the Rockets receive some draft picks and other stuff. The big issue is that I highly doubt the Rockets have any interest in Deng (since they have Battier and Ariza on the wing). Albeit, Deng is a superior all around player to both. Deng, Tyrus, and Salmons for TMac would be bad for this year, but it'd be an insane coup in regards to expiring money. The Bulls would have 23 coming off the book in TMac, 11 in Brad Miller, and another 6 in Jerome James. That's a s*** ton of money.
  3. RicBucher Source says Clippers have dealt Marcus Camby for Travis Outlaw and Steve Blake. Details and deeper confirmation to follow on the mothership.
  4. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 15, 2010 -> 05:48 PM) I completely agree with you're statement but we have absolutely nothing to worry about, Tyrus will never be anything near a superstar. I approve of this message.
  5. I voted for the 2nd option, though I think "satisfied" is a bad choice of wording. I'd say I'm content with what we've got, but craving more. We can succeed with this roster, but we can also improve.
  6. Verlander has got to be one of the more overrated players in the AL, imo.
  7. My God, this just hit me. I was watching the press conference online and was damn near brought to tears. I'm going to do everything possible to be there on the 29th to see his number go up and hopefully see him enshrined in the HOF soon.
  8. According to Sam Smith, Rose is 100% playing in the ASG.

    i am drunk

Stella Artois and Blue Moon = underrated.
  10. SI_JonHeyman still looks like an AL Central battle for damon. #braves apparently dont have the funds to compete. #tigers, #chisox 15 minutes ago from web
  11. the300level Kim Johnsson and Nick Leddy to Chicago for Barker is the done deal
  12. TSNBobMcKenzie IF Chi-Min deal goes down, I believe Kim Johnsson ends up in Chicago and Cam Barker goes to Minny but it may be bigger and it isn't done yet
  13. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 12, 2010 -> 02:15 AM) Who DH'es with Damon here? Quentin? Damon.
  14. This is fantastic news. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-t...o&type=lgns
  15. QUOTE (The Beast @ Feb 10, 2010 -> 05:40 PM) I'm going to be 22 and I think the appropriate age range is 20-24. I don't go for 17-19 year olds. Is my age range a good target? What's more important on getting, the email or the phone number? You're age range is fine. The 17-19 year olds are fun if you want to hook up, but if you're looking for a relationship, the more intellectual/mature is the way to go. And the 2nd question honestly baffles me a bit. If you meet a girl and ask her for her email address...well s***, I dunno. I'm baffled. Get the phone number. ALWAYS.
  16. FWIW, the asshole thing has always worked well for me, but like someone previously mentioned, you should only really use this on a girl who you have already established some sort of rapport with. But I tend to go with the sarcastic asshole route. Just turn their words around on them, be sarcastic and funny, keep them laughing and you'll be fine.
  17. QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 9, 2010 -> 01:58 PM) How long ago did this relationship end? I don't think there is anything wrong with being called "a great friend." Women are not men. They DO want their man to be a friend first (at least the one they ultimately choose). You just have to make sure that you don't become THE friend. Hmm, I still think I'll take Kyyle's advice and put it on the backburner for a bit. If she comes to me, I'll know.
  18. QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 9, 2010 -> 01:43 PM) What do you mean by this? Elaborate... I kinda thought things were gravy and feelings were mutual and what not, so I didn't really get aggressive in seeking a relationship. We were talking almost every day and hanging out. She said she'd been feeling down lately so I took her to lunch today, and then she went on a bit later saying I'm a great friend and that she feels better. I guess she's coming off a relationship where she got cheated on so maybe its just the timing. We'll see.
  19. QUOTE (soxman352000 @ Feb 9, 2010 -> 01:32 PM) Yeah solid advice, pretty much what I'm doing at this point. Appears to be working. Working how?
  20. I seem to have made the tragic mistake of being too friendly. s***.
  21. Dexter Morgan from the show "Dexter". It's PERFECT. Some of the monologues in seasons 1 and 2 actually delve into what you're talking about.
  22. QUOTE (longshot7 @ Feb 8, 2010 -> 12:46 PM) People are overreacting to this move. Hudson is a good player, but he's not an elite 2b anymore. I mean, this is the guy who got benched in the 2nd half last year for Ronnie Belliard. He's not Chase Utley. Thank God, someone here has some sense. Orlando Hudson makes the Twins the favorites in the central? Really? Really?
