  1. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 11:04 AM) I agree with paragraph number one, two and three. Vasher would be an excellent nickle cornerback. He plays the position well but does not have the speed or size to play at high level. He has to be on the field but often when he is matched up against the number 1 or 2 reciever it is a bad mismatch in athleticism. Azumah still isn't back from that hip injury. Its obvious in his kickoff returns. Until he heals, which may never happen, he can't possibly start. Antonio Bryant is a player...not many know his name but hes a superfreak. Doesnt Bryant own like every receiving record at Pitt?
  2. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 09:45 PM) Damaso used to be one of the best relievers in baseball as well, now...he sucks. Pretty much sums it up.
  3. QUOTE(mr_genius @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 08:19 PM) Angelo needs to be fired. He has done a horrible job with free agents and early round draft picks. This Bears team is horrible and I place most of the blame on Angelo. This 05' team is completely undermanned and unprepared to play NFL football. ps. Lovie Smith has no business being the Bears head coach. ps. You have no business posting about football. 1st off, let me say, I do agree that the 1st round picks = BLAH (outside of BU and Tommie Harris) but 2nd through 7th rounds have been great for the Bears. Ahem: Chris Harris Mark Bradley Kyle Orton Peanut Tillman Mike Brown Jerry Azumah Lance Briggs Alex Brown Mike Green Ian Scott Olin Kreutz Nathan Vasher All 2nd-7th round picks drafted by Chicago on the current roster. Yeah.
  4. I still think this is a bad move but what do I know. I could care less if he is on the roster as long as he is not on the mound.
  5. QUOTE(YASNY @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 05:50 PM) Ditka = Chicago. He gets a pass, imho. I agree. He is just the Chicago blue-collar kind of guy. I'll take him on our side.
  6. Some people just amaze me. There is nothing the Sox can do to stop the negativity about them in the media. If we win the World Series, Mariotti will call it a fluke and predict a 30 win 2006 season and ESPN will say that the margin of vicotry was far too small, etc etc. Kiss my ass...the Sox f***ing PWN!
  7. Oh man that is messed up. This guy has some serious talent too. God damn...
  8. Our pep rally was today and tommorrow is our homecoming game at 11 AM. Were 6-1, looking to go 7-1. GO BROOKS!
  9. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 10:37 PM) I was thinking about it, and I thought I would share it with the rest of the happy White Sox fans tonight. I am a third generation White Sox fan. In my lifetime, I have seen something at least one generation has not seen. The White Sox winning a playoff series. So let's send a toast up to heaven for all the White Sox fans that never got to see this ... ... and hope there are two more celebrations. To all the Sox fans of the past...
  10. QUOTE(whitesoxgt @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 10:33 PM) why would u vote for el duque , first ur all dissing him now just cuz he got out of a jam hes an MVP? it was nice what he did but come on! What is your problem? You sound like I did 2 weeks ago. Just relax man. Enjoy it. El Duque pithed his sack off tonight and you know it. As far as I am concerned, he is the MVP of this series because god knows what could have happened if the BoSox score and win the game...
  11. I feel humbled to be so young and to have experienced 3 playoff appearances in my lifetime already (93, 00, 05, but of course I dont remember 93). Yet, there are 60+ year old fans that havent seen the Sox do this in so long. To that I say let's win it for the old-timers, they really deserve it. GO SOX!
  12. Holy flippin shnickes! By far your best to date IMO Goldy. WOW!
