  1. Lets hope Jonny can turn his A game on. I really hope he can get his tailing fastball in the right spot. If he he gets that going, he could be very hard to hit. That is my "Key To The Game." So, Sit Back, Relax, and Strap it Down Your White Sox play the Division Rival Indians, next!
  2. He has had a great start to this season. I do think though that Jimenez will be just as good. If not better!
  3. The Starters Are: For the Sox, Jon Garland: 0-1, 11.25 ERA For the Indians, Brian Anderson, 1-0, 0.00 ERA Lets hope the Sox can extend this streak to 5 games. We have played well as of late.
  4. I guess I'll be President. Chisoxfn, you could be Vice-President.
  5. Frank will be fine! I am officially making a Fan-Club. It s the "The Big Hurt Fan-Club" if you want to be in it, just PM me! Ill post an official roster!
  6. What about Alex Gonzalez and the 2 Troys. Percival and Glaus!
  7. Man, Surgery really took a toll on Jimmy. I wish him luck. I kind of liked him, until he started complaining!
  8. Any Twins player, any Oaklnad player, and any FORMER Sox player!
  9. Here is my review of the starters, lineup, and the bullpen as a whole, through the 1st 7 games. It consists of their name, review, stats, and rating 1 through 100. The Starting Lineup: D'Angelo Jimenez: Has started the season off strong. Has gotten on base for Jose, Frank, Maggs, and Paulie. Has been great in the clutch. Gets key hits to spark the team. Has also showed that he really isnt as slow as people think. Defense has been better than expected. Stats: .250 avg, 1 HR, 4 RBI's, 11 Total Bases Rating: 87 Jose Valentin: Has showed signs of power. Has been clutch. Has been able to move Jimenez over or drive him in. Gets hits when needed and has not been horrible on defense. Continues to be a team leader. Stats: .400 avg, 3 HR, 6 RBI's, 22 Total Bases Rating: 81 Frank Thomas: Did good in spring training, but has struggled a bit in the beginning of the season. Has been able to drive guys in and draw walks in order to get Maggs in a groove. Stats: .278 avg, 1 HR, 2 RBI's, 8 Total Bases Rating: 73 Magglio Ordonez: Has been phenomenal! Offense and defense have been awesome. He has undercut some balls and jammed himself but still gets the runners home. Defense has been great. Stats: .273 avg, 1 HR, 6 RBI's, 10 Total Bases Rating: 92 Paul Konerko: Struggles have stressed him. He hasn't been able to get the bat on the ball. Struggled at the beginning of last year, and rebounded, hopefully he will rebound soon this year. Defense has been decent. Stats: .150 avg, 0 HR, 2 RBI's, 4 Total Bases Rating 69 Joe Crede: Defense has been great. Has been on base a lot. Makes good decisions and plays like a veteran. Has power and a good eye. Stats: .348 avg, 1 HR, 2 RBI's, 14 Total Bases Rating: 83 Carlos Lee: HORRIBLE! Defense has been ok at the most. Has shown a good arm though. Offense has also been horrible. He needs to get going, quick! Stats: .111 avg, 0 HR, RBI's, 2 Total Bases Rating: 57 Aaron Rowand: Defense is still great and offense has shown glimmers. Gets hits here and there. Has been patient at the plate and been able to continue scoring sperst. Stats: .333 avg, 0 HR, 0 RBI's, 6 Total Bases Rating: 75 Sandy Alomar Jr: Played great today against his old team. Offense has been better than we though or need. Defense has been good as usual behind the plate. Stats: .300 avg, 1 HR, 4 RBI's, 13 Total Bases Rating: 80 The Pitching Rotation: Mark Buehrle: Started good against the Royas and pitched great against the Tigers. Has great command and has his breaking ball working. Stats: 1-1, 15.0 IP, 1.20 ERA, 4 K's, 3 BB's Rating: 88 Bartolo Colon: Has pitched very well but has had no offense behind him. Has developed a decent chang-up and has a bunch of K's. Stats: 0-0, 12.0 IP, 4.50 ERA, 8 K's, 4 BB's Rating: 83 Jon Garland: Had a tough time in KC but can rebound tommorrow against Cleveland. Didn't really have his stuff working. Stats: 0-0, 4 IP, 11.25 ERA, 1 K, 1 BB Rating: 71 Esteban Loazia: Pitched awesome versus Detroit and had his stuff on the whole time. I really like this addition. Stats: 1-0, 6.2 IP, 2.70 ERA, 5 K's, 3 BB's Rating: 89 Josh Stewart: Had one of the best White Sox debuts I have ever seen. Had his stuff on and his breaking ball was good. Also did good versus right handers. Stats: 0-0, 6.2 IP, 2.70 ERA, 1 K, 1 BB Rating: 80 Bullpen: Glover, Wunsch, Marte, White, Gordon and Koch have been good as a whole. Gordon and White have struggled individually but as a whole they could shut down many teams. Stats (combined): 1-2, 3.92 ERA, 15.2 IP, 19 BB's, 11 K's Rating: 84
  10. To bad, this could be his 1st and last start of this season! Wright is set to comeback in mid-late April. Let the Kid play (Stewart, that is)
  11. Sorry, I got the projected line-ups. Oh well. Lets get this game underway already, eh!
  12. Jimenez has played well, that double sparked us in the opener. Hes my choice!
  13. I would love to have him playing center kn the south side but is injuries scare everyone away!
  14. I really like the idea of that 300 foot tracer thingy on the left and right field decks but your right, Lee will stare at it too much and make even more bonehead plays.
  15. Let's try this on, "So, Sit Back, Relax, and Strap It Down, Your White Sox play the Detroit Tigers, Next!"
  16. Its because Graffy is a utility infielder. You forget, he's playing a diifferent position each game! I remember last year, that game against the Cubs. Graffy was playing third. Patterson hits a ground ball to 1st, Paulie steps on the 1st base bag and whips it to Graffy right away. Thinking it's an easy force out, Graffy doesn't think to tag the runner advancing to third, therefore, he is safe. That runner scored and cost us the game, but, that was last year, and the mistake he made was yesterday, but, we won and did get a shutout because of solid defense and pitching. So we forget it!
  17. Yeah, the Sox always choke against 1st timers. Lets hope that changes today. Byt the way, gametime is 1:05 CT in U.S. Cellular Field, Home of your Chicago White Sox and the 2003 All-Star Game. (I always wanted to say that)
  18. This is my favorite thread! Cleveland, Detroit, Kansas City, and Especially The Cubs suck! Hold on i forgot something. MINNESOTA SUCKS BALLZ!
  19. The starting pitchers are Josh Stewart making his MLB debut for the Sox and Gary Knotts making his second Major League start. It is his 1st appearance versus the Sox. The Lineups are: Tigers: G. Kingsale, CF O. Infante, SS B. Higginson, RF D. Young, LF D. Palmer, DH C. Pena, 1B E. Munson, 3B B. Inge, C R. Santiago, 2B White Sox: D. Jimenez, 2B J. Valentin, SS F. Thomas, DH M. Ordonez, RF P. Konerko, 1B C. Lee, LF J. Crede, 3B A. Rowand, CF S. Alomar Jr, C
  20. i live 10 minutes from Us. Celllular and about 30 minutes before gametime (3:05 pm CT) it was raining so hard that my rooof almost caved in! That was a bit of an exxaguration but it was raining hard as hell! At least we got the game in at about 4:45 and got a win from the Sox! How about that 2nd inning though. Crede's shot was a BLAST! We got hit after hit after hit. Finally, the Sox season has begun!
  21. This game is probably gonna be a rain out! Its raining Cats and Doggs here in Chicago. Literally!
