QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 8, 2007 -> 04:04 PM) As much as we like to THINK we may not do something because we are good people, ultimately it's about fear of punishment. I'll take "things Christianity and the US penal system have in common" for $100, Alex.

I guess it's only a frivolous lawsuit if it's someone else.

QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 8, 2007 -> 11:28 AM) Nikola Tesla would be so proud!! Fore sure, a bunch of people thought Tesla was off his nut when he talked about what he thought was possible in the field of electromagnetics.

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jun 8, 2007 -> 08:31 AM) Does this also maybe translate to wireless TV's, lights, everything else you have to plug in??? Yeah, that would be the idea. They are a few years away, no doubt, but on the right track.

QUOTE(premo @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 11:37 PM) As soon as Arod came up, I knew he was going to hit one out. This was one of the worst games I've seen all year. Hawk and DJ honestly sounded depressed. This team, aside from our starting pitching most of this year, is f***ing pathetic. I don't know about depressed, but for the last inning and a half Hawk sounded like he wanted to fellate Jeter.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:58 PM) Tried a combination off Goo Gone, Goof Off, WD-40 and the blow dryer and those stickers on the trunk ain't goin' nowhere. Guess I have to go to plan B which is to use some White Sox stickers as cover up. By the way, one sticker reads: "Wyoming authentic and proud". The other one reads the same AND it has a pciture of a cowboy riding a horse in the background. C'MON. Must be authentic Wyoming Pride glue - now made with more real horse hooves! I'm dumbfounded that the WD didn't do the trick. Did you spray on a whole can and just completely drench the suckers?

QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 01:48 PM) I dont care what the purists say...I make my ribs in the oven and they are the bomb. Unless I got myself a smoker I wouldn't change it. I make this rub: 3 tablespoons brown sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons paprika 1 1/2 tablespoons ground black pepper 1 1/2 tablespoons salt 1 teaspoon garlic powder If you like your ribs to have a little kick add some cayenne pepper to the mix I remove the membrane from the back of the ribs, set them on a big piece of foil, rub on the seasonings liberally, seal the foil and let it set in the fridge overnight. Open the foil and baste the ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce(Sweet Baby Rays). Seal the foil. Set the ribs on a cookie sheet cause the juices will seep out all over the place. I cook em for 3 hours at 275. With about 10 minutes left I open the foil lather on some sauce and turn the oven to broil. (you could also take them out and put them on a hot grill at this point) This is just to get that nice charred crisp on top. The hardest part about cooking these ribs is plating them cause the meat will fall right off the bone. Don't try to remove the whole slab at once. Cut into sections of about 4 ribs each. These ribs are super easy and guaranteed to satisfy all. If I'm making 4-6 slabs, I'll use some different BBQ sauces depending on the tastes of whoever is eating em. Yumm - I know what new recipe I'll be trying soon. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 01:59 PM) When you put that much care into it, any purist would be an idiot to say you aren't doing it right. Durn straight.

Are you ready to make the move to a strong and more lasting experience? Ask your doctor about a thicker, heavier, longer sexual experience. It's what Dr. Porkenheimer's Boner Juice is all about. And there's no rush to perform. It's boners when you feel right. If erection lasts less than four hours, up the dosage by as much as you like. In the rare case the erection should last more than twenty-four hours, call a friend and brag about it. And Meaty Too

Make it a good one!

QUOTE(dasox24 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 03:41 PM) That list was awesome. A lot of those are just so true about the actor they're talking about. I was surprised I knew all but about 2 or 3 guys. By name?

Amazing that was almost 20 years ago. -
Picture yourself on a boat on a river. Rollin', rollin', rollin' on the river. Old Mississippi, she's calling my name Why don't you come along and mosey on down, I said down, come on down, down by the lazy river. She sits on the dock a fishin' in the water uh, huh. She's so very nice, you should break the ice, let her know that she's on your mind. Across the streams of hopes and dreams where things are really not. Have to believe we are magic, nothing can stand in our way. Look here, Brother - Who you jivin' wit dat Cozmik Debris? When that moon gets big and bright, it's a supernatural delight. You wish upon a star that turns into a plane Don't know when I'll be back again Take my chances on a big jet plane - Never let 'em tell you that they're all the same

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 5, 2007 -> 01:53 PM) You know something...YOU SUCK. That I do, which is why I was left out of the X-Men movies like Gambit was.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 5, 2007 -> 01:21 PM) I'm just mad that they didn't find a way to get Gambit in the movies. I'm not a comic book guy at all but honestly...who doesn't love Gambit? I think it's best to let Mr. David Campbell answer the question of WHY GAMBIT SUCKS.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 5, 2007 -> 09:12 AM) I just read on the elevator that you are twice as likely to get spy/adware from a file sharing site (19%) versus a porn site (9%) No wonder my hard drive stays so clean. Er, . . . uhm . . . , I mean, very interesting fact.

Rep. "Dollar" Bill Jefferson finally indicted!!!
FlaSoxxJim replied to Balta1701's topic in The Filibuster
It really sounds like the freezer full of cash was just the tip of the iceberg on what they have on him, and was actually a huge impediment in moving a case forward because of the possibility of the apartment search being improper. When it's all said and done I think he's going away for a long time, as well he should. -
My $0.02 on the Dark Knight Detective. . . Frank Miller's retooling was phenomenal, of course, but I don't think it's accurate to say he made batman darker than Bob Kane's original incarnation. In the earliest comics Batman gad a friggin' Gatlin gun on his Batplane for cripes-sake. He started out pretty darn dark. I think people who say they only liked the first Burton film in the original movie series are not giving Batman Returns a fair shake. Yeah, Nicholson's Joker and the Prince soundtrack are hard to top, But I think in a lot of ways Batman Returns was stronger than the first one, sort of how Bride of was better than James Whale's first Frankenstein Universal film. Then again, I'm a big fan of the quirky side of Burton and not everybody is.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 06:25 AM) Heat it with a blow dryer. It melts the glue and comes right off. A liberal application of WD40 works as well, and shouldn't harm the paint.

I'm so very sorry, QP. That is tragic news and everyone involved is in my heart and thoughts.
