  1. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 06:09 PM) if he can get the 4th OF spot he has a chance because with Dye and his injury past and Pods a injury risk since he steals soo much.... not 2 mention Anderson being a rookie will need time off. i agree, he'll get some playing time; its definitely not worth it to switch to football
  2. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 05:49 PM) Of course. BTW, whoever rights Dubya's speaches is pretty funny. EDIT 2: f***ing El Duque must have been tired because he blinks about every .002372 seconds. Watch him in the top left corner lol. el duque is pretty funny, he didnt look to thrilled bush was surprisingly good
  3. are they signing autographs or talking? or does appearance mean that they are just showing up
  4. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 01:33 PM) That was very amusing, actually. I should add that its about 100 times funnier if you watch what manny did the entire play, instead of the quick clip shown.
  5. The Best Damn Sportshow did a countdown of top bonehead plays by manny, it was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen. Hes made some of the stupid plays in baseball. wish i had a tape of all ten
  6. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 02:28 PM) Anyone who thinks that we won't have a second lefty in the bullpen come opening day has another thing coming. we better have another one
  7. not a bad game not too sure what seattle was doing last 2 minutes of half and game i was rooting for the steelers (although i was not that attached) but im happy they won
  8. QUOTE(SnB @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 11:09 PM) Though it may not have been the most important, I think the most outstanding performance was El duque in boston. That may have been the most nervewracking 15 minutes of my life and I loved every minute of it. el duque couldnt have been bigger, it was a huge momentum performance as for the world series, Freddy game 4 was as good as it gets
  9. they could be a pest, but they wont be a contender
  10. that wasnt quite as funny as I remembered it but thanks for posting the link
  11. QUOTE(SoxRock05 @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 08:48 AM) I don't know why I am posting this....I am bored on this dreary Friday Morning.... If you were to go golfing with anyone in the current WhiteSox orginization, who would be your 3 choices to make up your 4-some? My ForSome - AJ Coop Jenks AJ cuz I think he'd be a hilarious golfer with his attitude, Coop cuz he's my favorite coach on the team, and Jenks cuz he's my favorite player on the team. JiYea!!! I think Coop would be a great golf partner I might go with Coop, Jenks, and MB and if one of them couldnt come Id take Ozzie
  12. today I was thinking about one of the funniest moments I have ever seen in baseball: when Manny Ramirez cut off a ball thrown by Damon on july 21, 2004 off a ball hit by David Newhan, which turned into an inside the park home run. has anyone seen video of this on the internet and know where it is located?
  13. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 12:08 AM) I get sexually aroused when I think of some of the players, does that count? it depends on which players
  14. thats really funny what a stupid mistake
  15. I dont really care if people view Chicago as a Cubs town or a Sox town. If being a Sox town requires converting a lot of Cubs fans to Sox fans, then it can stay a "Cubs town" As long as the Sox win, thats all that matters From my experience, Cubs fans arent as interested in that
  16. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 10:47 PM) Uh, why? He took crap because he kept trying to steal when he obviously couldn't. If you can't steal, fine, just don't get thrown out. I agree he deserves some of the crap because he made poor decisions on the base path. Although kudos to him for getting through that and not complaining
  17. im going with borchard and so far 100% of the people agree with me
  18. I like it, will they wear those?
  19. I dont see how the A's have a better staff, who are their starters: Loiza, Zito, Haren, Harden, Blanton? Zito and Street are good but nobody on that staff even had 15 wins, and Loiza has had one season with more than 12 wins Going off the top 5 starters on each team in 2005 (using El Duque) White Sox: 72 wins 1017 innings A's: 60 wins 805 innings and Loaiza and Vasquez were virtually even in these categories
