I wanted to make a thread about this, but I didn't want to anyone to accuse me of cluttering the forum with a pointless thread. I think we should give Contreras a rest. Maybe a week. Maybe more. Let McCarthy get a few starts, and see if Jose can get his stuff back. Maybe rest is all he needs. If not, I really don't think BMac will be any worse than Jose has been lately

KW needs to do everything in his power to make sure that Joe Crede plays for the Sox for a LONG time.

To me, putting McCarthy in the rotation and Vasquez in the pen makes perfect sense. I think he would actually be dominant coming in as a setup man.

I hate that a baseball game can ruin the rest of the night for me. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Every game someone lets us down. Today, our offense played their asses off, but our pitching crapped their pants in tough situations. With the exception of Garland, our starting pitching is a fukkin trainwreck.

You know, I've said this before. I can handle losing when we have a poor or average team. But this s*** is infuriating. We play just good enough to lose. We give our pitchers leads, and they blow it. Our pitcher pitch their ass off and out hitters take the day off. The fielding blows it. Whatever. We should be batttling Detroit for the division right now, not struggling to hang on to the wild card. Maybe I'm spoiled from last year. But goddamn, someone needs to light a fire under these guys. It seems to me that every game we lose, someone lets me down. Jermaine Dye could have been a hero tonight, but nope, doesn't come through. Don't even get me started on Ozzie. I really wish I knew what goes on in the clubhouse. If he ever gets in anyone's face in there. I'm not talking about humiliating some kid on national TV. I mean telling the pitchers to get their collective heads out of their asses and start pitching like they should be. It's just really starting to get to me.
