    Ozzie

God I miss Chicago. I love Ozzie one minute, and hate him the next. I love that he'll say whatever he thinks. I hate him because as far as managing, he does stupid s***
  2. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 19, 2007 -> 12:10 AM) mean Jesus playing Toby is the ONLY thing Ozzie did right all day. I will agree with this
  3. My personal feeling with this team, is that we are going to end up in 3rd place in the ALCentral. And I think whoever is in 2nd wil win the wildcard. We're going to end up around .500 Also, I'm drunk
  4. I really feel bad for Scotty Pods. He was a huge part of our WS Championship, although I feel that he really tailed off during the last 2/3 of that year. With that, and his showing last year, there is no way he should have been re-signed over the off-season. I would've rather entered this year with Sweeney as our everyday LF.....or Fields even. I like Scott, I just don't think KW should've brought him back
  5. This got real ugly real fast. MacDougal is a joke, and now that I think about it, so is most of this team
  6. this is starting to get rigoddamndiculous
  7. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ May 16, 2007 -> 11:21 PM) The Royals torched them on Sunday. Like I said, major league hitters And I like that that bring in Rivera with a 7 run lead
  8. At least our guys get to sit back and watch how a major league team should hit the ball
  9. I'd LOVE to have either Ichiro or Arod, but I was just wondering if there has ever been serious consideration or rumors of us trying to get either of them, or if this is all just fan specualtion? I remember back when there was the whole 3-way with the White Sox, Red Sox, and Rangers with Arod, Nomar, and Maggs, but I dont remember the specifics of how that would've worked out.
  10. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ May 13, 2007 -> 02:08 PM) Allowing the pitchers to hit next weekend may improve the offense. Too bad the Cubs are throwing 2 lefties at us. Hey, some of them looked better than our position players during bp yesterday
  11. It's pretty sad that Uribe, Erstad, and Sweeney are probably the best hitters on the team right now.
  12. I just think that Ozzie needs to realize that what worked in 2005, isn't going to work forever. Players change, get older, some get better, some get worse. I figured that when Sweeney got called up, he'd just be another BA, and he'd be hitting .200 and we'd say "Well, he's young, and this is his first time up" Instead, he's looking like he good be a VERY productive member of this team for the rest of the season. Last night was the first time I actually got to see him play, and he looked terrific at the plate.
  13. I usually don't complain about slumps, because it happens to everyone. But the whole offense has been in a slump for the whole season. Getting to be a little ridiculous.
  14. I just wanna say that its great to see Erstad hitting the ball. Hopefully he'll keep it up
  15. well, the good news is....at least what I keep telling myself....is I'm glad JD and PK are getting this out of their system now, instead of later in the season.
  16. I didn't want to post and jinx it. I'm listening on my laptop, and I'm freakin screaming in my living room. My wife is like wtf lol.....AWESOME
  17. I'm originally from Upstate NY, and now I live in North Dakota. Both places I've lived, really no one other than me was a Sox fan. Before we won the World Series, for me anyway, the Cubs series were always a big deal for me. I don't know why, maybe just trying to fit in, maybe I just hated listening to Cubs fans piss and moan about curses and the like. Same with Boston fans. But since the Sox won the World Series, I've developed a much greater hatred towards inter-division rivals, namely the Twins.
  18. on MNF the jags and steelers have a pretty good game going
  19. If I'm going to watch anymore games this year, I'd at least like to see more of the guys that got brought up.

    In or Out?

I'm out, and so are the Sox. I am a diehard fan, but I'm sick of having a baseball team affect my mood. I'll just wait till next year, see if we make some changes, and life goes on. Football season will hopefully keep me occupied, but I'm a Bills fan, and Their season could be over by the end of the month, so we'll see.
  21. thanks for that one. I should've watched juice on vh1 instead
