Remillard played LF the night before Yrizzari did. They are trying Laz Rivera at SS, maybe hoping for less errors as Yrizzari has about 15 or more. But Rivera now has 3 errors in his two W-S games.

Puts them at 26 with 3 catchers. I assume Austin will go back on DL. I for one like how they have 3 catchers on each team and keep one on DL until needed. I think Milb lets them do this to save on moving catchers up and down levels that ends up costing a lot of money. No reason to not let them play the game like they have done this year. (this paragraph was about something someone else asked about, I just threw it in with the other sentence above).

Cut and pasted this from different forum. Just a quick recap of the players in the AS games, some have been mentioned by some others already. Collins won Southern League HR derby, he also went 1-3 with a walk in the All Star game. Jiminez went 1-3, Mendick went 2-4, Zavala was 1-2 I think. Dunning pitched well, as did Hamilton. I did not know Ruiz made AS game, must have been a late addition as we only had 6 on the team originally. Ruiz got hammered in the 9th to let game get out of reach. In Carolina league, Cease pitched well. Flores pitched a scoreless inning. Foster gave up a run. Booker hit a leadoff HR, drove in 4 runs and was the MVP of the game. Basabe did not get a hit if I recall correctly. In Sally League, Battenfield gave up a run in his inning. Elliott went 1+ scoreless. Blackman hit a homer. Laz Rivera had a couple hits. Dedelow was 1-1.

Basto is on the roster that is outdated. The googles doc shows he was released yesterday, sometimes it is more up to date than even the minor league team websites.

Surprised they list Coffey as a SS, Vavra was the SS for the Gophers and Coffey played 3B. I see he did play 3B in AZL last night.
