How about Mike Horejsei? I did not see him on Kanny roster, expected to.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 7, 2017 -> 02:31 AM) 0-6 with 6k for Hawkins and Barnum. Two very bad players Sox need to just cut bait.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Mar 28, 2017 -> 10:07 PM) Since when did Hunter Jones (former Indians of prospect) join the Sox? Since 2014 http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?playe...itting/2016/ALL

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 9, 2017 -> 02:47 PM) He actually signed in late February - the stories on these minor signings usually don't bubble up to the media right away. Thanks

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 7, 2017 -> 09:06 PM) FutureSox @FutureSox The #WhiteSox signed 28yo utility player Tyler Ladendorf to a MiLB deal per @BaseballAmerica. 2008 2nd rd pick, last w/OAK, has 45 MLB games Signed on his 29th birthday (if he signed today)

QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ Feb 8, 2017 -> 06:32 PM) In 1970 the Sox went 56-106, most losses ever in a season and they drew 495,000 fans for it. Had three managers that season. Mark I attended some of those games, a couple of them with less than 5K in attendance at that huge old Comiskey Park. They were pitiful. Chuck Tanner etal would soon be on their way.

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jan 21, 2017 -> 07:22 PM) Braves signed Kurt Suzuki, 1 year $1.5 mill. Where will Wieters sign, Nats? Angels? Interesting, Braves had Flowers last year, noted for framing. Suzuki is noted for being poor at it. -

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jan 10, 2017 -> 11:17 PM) If there was an opening at second (there could be with a Lawrie or Frazier trade) I could see it. Maybe bring him back and see if he could become backup 2B/OF? We do not need Johnson at 2B, we want a good defensive infield, he does not fit that description. -
QUOTE (oldsox @ Dec 29, 2016 -> 12:15 PM) Who is he? A catcher in Rookie ball I think. He might have meant Matt Cooper.

QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ Nov 11, 2016 -> 03:54 AM) either the 2016 draft was great or the system was worse than I thought. To have five of top 10 picked last June is revealing Also so far it appears that the revamped efforts in Latin America isn't producing much. Another bad sign. Actually I am very disappointed in our Latin America work. I thought Paddy would help sooner and now I am wondering if he will at all. Nunez is about it, and he is not a stud.

QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Aug 22, 2016 -> 08:47 AM) Almost none of those words make sense to me. Dick Stuart may have been one of the worst fielding 1Bmen who ever played the game, thus his nickname.

QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Aug 21, 2016 -> 03:48 AM) Solorzano, Pano, and Rocha combined for a no-hitter! Solorzano - 7 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 8K Pano - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K Rocha - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB Zangari hit an oppo-taco. He's heating up. 4 HR in his past 10 games, 15 on the season between GF and Kanny. Still just 19 years old. Zangari has the glove of Dick Stuart, a 1Bman known as Dr Strangeglove back in the 50s and early 60s.

QUOTE (QuickJones81 @ Aug 2, 2016 -> 01:05 PM) Musta missed that news. Any idea if he has a history on the mound? He pitched quite a bit in college I believe. Univ. of San Diego. http://www.usdtoreros.com/sports/m-basebl/...ich_790681.html

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 11, 2016 -> 05:30 AM) Eddy Alvarez with a 2-4, HR, 2B night to up his average to .244 Alvarez is setting quite a pace with RBIs

QUOTE (GreenSox @ Jul 10, 2016 -> 02:58 PM) Is Delmonico hurt? I notice he hasn't played in 2 weeks. Charlotte is mostly AAAA players these days. Peter seems to be adapting to AAA pretty well. Engel is getting things together in Birmingham as well. Luis Martinez has been solid his last 4 games in Kanny. June 30, 2016 Charlotte Knights placed 1B Nicky Delmonico on the 7-day disabled list.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 6, 2016 -> 11:01 PM) http://espn.go.com/espn/story/_/id/1509336...itive-drug-test Just passed the 80 game mark on positive drug test suspension. Starting for Charlotte tonight against Pawtucket. Help is on the way...for the bullpen. Or, somewhere. Has spent most of his career with the Rangers' organization as a starter and long reliever. He made a start last week as well. -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 03:27 PM) Any word on Carlos Perez, the Catcher from Venezuela? He is in extended ST, will be on either Great Falls or Arizona Rookie League roster most likely. He was called up to Kannapolis for a couple days a month or so ago.

Sox sign 19 year old free agent catcher
MnSoxFan replied to CaliSoxFanViaSWside's topic in FutureSox Board
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 6, 2016 -> 06:29 PM) That is a pretty little guy for a catcher. Under one transaction, the Padres signed him as a Pitcher. Maybe a typo. March 1, 2016 San Diego Padres signed free agent P Janigson Villalobos to a minor league contract I found that under http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?playe...tching/2016/ALL -
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 26, 2016 -> 09:42 PM) Ooops, funny, because I just looked up Hawkins to see if his OPS was anywhere near 800 after a 3 double game. Still at 737. But he's obviously missed a lot of at-bats already this season, and those numbers can change quickly. Right now, it's hard to count on Hawkins to make it, but he could always just start clicking like Thompson did after struggling for quite awhile. Not counting on it though. Fwiw, there was one point where we acquired Mike Jacobs (think that's his name) from BOS and we had ALL prospects with multi-sports backgrounds playing for the same team. But he didn't last long with the White Sox. Brandon Jacobs, he was bad. I think we unloaded him to San Diego.

QUOTE (GreenSox @ May 4, 2016 -> 09:45 PM) I thought they cut Suiter. Maybe I misread that. They released him 3/28 and resigned him on 5/4
