Kanny lost, 4-2, Flores ok start, nice relief for Dizard, 2 hits for Valido, showing spunk by getting hot again. Birm lost 3-2, not a bad start for Munoz, Field good relief, and Bull. Rex, how about Field, the guy has been solid since we drafted him, does he look good? Charlotte loses 6-4 I think, 12th homer for Smith, 2 run homer and walk for Reed. Pacheco with a bit of relief.

Majewski has done well of late, off to slow start, but seems to have settled in with Santiago as dual closers. We do not have to have K pitchers for the pen, Politte throws real hard, what does he have to show for it?

Majewski would likely be next to replace Politte in the pen, he or Santiago.

He has as many RBI as Anderson, he has done a decent job this year, some clutch RBIs and tho his average is not great, he has not been overmatched. I am happy with how all 3 are performing.

Why not Meaux back to the pen, Bullard has done a much better job starting??

But a .280 average and 0 walks and 1 HBP in his 107 ABs make for a very lousy .282 OBP

2 hits for Amador, at .280, if he walked more than once a year he would be valuable, some of best speed in org, good glove, finally hitting, last I looked 0 walks and one HBP.

Tisch has been a big disappointment.

Charlotte in a slugfest, down 6-5 early, maybe Borchard doing some more damage. Kanny 2-2 in the 4th W-S later, Lamura on the bump Barons with day off.

I have heard he is an ass too, but cannot let that stand in the way of what is best for the team, he needs a shot as 5th starter, as someone said, better to have him make it than have to trade and give up lots of value for a 5th starter.

Put me in the camp that does NOT want Borchard in CF. he will not be as good a CF as Rowand, he lacks quickness, his arm is average (maybe a tad above), he can run but takes a while to get going, so he looks good on a triple, but not so fast from get-go. He does not have as good of instincts as a Rowand. So I would say our defense would get worse with him in CF. I would rather unload Lee and put Borchard in LF.

Correct, we already sent down Rauch once this season, so we can call him up and send him out all we want until next season.
