Myself, I want to keep Maggs for stretch run, then let him walk and get the number 1 and the sammich pick. We need to reload our system, we are getting very weak.

Has he done anything to deserve to get out, ok, he is having a good year, but it is also his 3rd year in that league.

Could be Murphy, he has played quite a bit of AAA ball before we got him. I am in no hurry to rush Anderson, let him enjoy the success. I do not want him, Sweeney and Fields all pushed, we need them to enjoy some success.

I think the staff believes Chris Stewart will ultimately be a great defensive catcher in the bigs, he handles the staff well and he has a great arm too. He has to hit, but I know Rex has mentioned the same thing, so we are hearing this from some of the same folks.

First, I hate losing Reed, I valued him over Borchard. Morse we will not miss, he will likely never be an every day player in bigs, especially at SS, and rumors of steroids causing suspension may have soured us on him. Olivo we will miss in my opinion, tho our pitchers really did not like throwing to him. But Burke is a AAAA player, never caught fulltime in minors, anyone expecting him to contribute much is hallucinating. We have no one to shut down the run, unless Davis can.
