QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 19, 2015 -> 03:35 PM) Good to hear. well the USSF might be back tracking a bit now. They are waiting to see how the US Open Cup people punish Dempsey. Perfect time for Klinnsman to give the armband to Bradley.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 18, 2015 -> 11:39 AM) Neymar will be suspended for two games for attempting to headbutt a Colombian player yesterday after the game. Bacca also got a red for shoving Neymar afterwards. Crazy stuff. Brazil is really screwed without Neymar. yeah they are. they were screwed already before losing Neymar. Brazil is really bad by their standards right now. Some guest on Sirius this morning said this might be the worst generation of players in Brazil's history. Should be a wild and wide open knockout stage in Copa America.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 18, 2015 -> 11:23 PM) Held the cup tonight. It was awesome. back in 2004 it was in Orlando during the Lightning-Flames Final and i went to see it at Disney. such a neat moment to touch something so iconic in sports. waited in line for like 45 minutes and the whole experience lasted maybe 60 seconds. I have a few pics but i'd have to hunt for them. sucks that it was right before everyone had a camera phone, would've been easier to store digitally.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 17, 2015 -> 04:06 PM) Clint Dempsey might get a 3 month ban for ripping a ref's book yesterday. If the USSF bans him, he'll be out for the Gold Cup. so ripping up the ref's book is a 90 suspension but beating up your 17 year old nephew and taking the ussf van out for a joyride while drunk is only worth a 30 day ban....

Some amazing Copa America matches tonight. And Chile got robbed twice vs Mexico in their tie. Two goals taken away for offsides that were wrongly called.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 14, 2015 -> 07:27 PM) Neymar just made an incredible pass to assist the winning goal for Brazil in stoppage time. a highly entertaining game even though there was 85 minutes between goals. anyone who had the over can breathe.

out on PKs to Serbia. There was some really bad penalties taken. Other than the one kick off the post/crossbar, the other kicks looked missed when addressing the ball. But a decent showing atleast. Lost some guys to injury during the tournament that could've really made a difference last night and going forward. But a few guys to look out for over the next few years.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 13, 2015 -> 02:52 PM) Some of the stuff he says is hilarious, but I feel like he goes way too overboard with it. Even Hawk doesn't go as beserk as Hudson does sometimes. Hawk is a douche who scripts out his comments. Hudson doesnt appear to be reading some catch phrases for attention. Mali beats Germany in u-20s in penalties. crazy stuff.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 11, 2015 -> 09:26 PM) Does anyone else find Ray Hudson (analyst on beIN) extremely annoying after listening to his terrible metaphors for 5 minutes? I was thinking why cant Hudson do more games. I really enjoy listening to his passion and his lines he comes up with seem authentic, not something he has written down just waiting to spew out. I really enjoyed last summer listening to him on SiriusXM during the World Cup. He was usually on some morning show.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jun 11, 2015 -> 09:31 AM) Duncan Keith is so much fun to watch in these playoffs. I'm not sure he is human. Saved a goal on that wrap around. Crawford was slow getting to the other post and would've been beaten.

Morris has been a nice surprise but we've seen US forwards come out looking good in their first few caps and then barely amount to anything. Copa starts tonight. Woohoo

Team looks real dynamic right now. This team looks good when Bradley is on. Hopefully the bunkering of CONCACAF opposition in the Gold Cup doesn't give this team too many fits.

I don't have a favorite European team. Ill root for Man U since the Glazers own them but I don't care if they win or lose and won't go out of my way to watch them. Funny how big of front runners we are over here since everyone's favorite Euro team is basically one of handful of teams. No one ever says they're a Stoke supporter or even a Fulham or Everton supporter when those teams had Americans on them. Basically only club team I care about is Orlando City.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 1, 2015 -> 05:46 PM) vandy now up 20-0. 14 outs, 20 runs. getting hard to watch for Radford, who clearly had no business being a 2 seed as bad as that is, it still amazes me the epic beatdown FSU put on Ohio St a few years ago. 37-6 is just crazy talk.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 26, 2015 -> 01:18 PM) I guess I should have included facility specifications along with scheduling as reasons that the top seed doesn't play at home. Still, my point is that the NCAA does not arbitrarily award regionals to teams other than the top seed. 2010, the NCAA gave UCONN a regional but Florida St was the top seed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_NCAA_Div...ball_Tournament 2008, the NCAA gave Michigan a regional but Arizona was the top seed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_NCAA_Div...ball_Tournament I knew those two off the top of my head. I'm curious if it happened more in the past.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 17, 2015 -> 10:02 PM) I'm not a fan of how baseball does the automatic bids going to the conference tournament champion. SEMO plays 30 conference games facing every team and goes 22-8 and only loses 1 series out of 10 (2nd to last conference series) and has to win the tournament to get in now. It screwed them over last year and hope it doesn't again this year I dont like conference tournaments in college baseball or basketball. 24-30 conference baseball games or 16-18 conference basketball games should carry my weight than 3-4 days of games.

QUOTE (LDF @ May 16, 2015 -> 01:39 PM) Miami .. 3b David Thompson had a monster nite at the plate. hit 3 hrs http://www.d1baseball.com/analysis/weekend...-friday-may-15/ another HR today. may have been the regular season HR and RBI leader depending on how this weekend's games played out.
