QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 11, 2014 -> 03:18 PM) Governor's office has been filled by a Democrat since 2003. Generally Assembly has been controlled by the Democrats since 2003. And you say we've spent more than we could afford? Say it ain't so! And Madigan wants the State to pitch in $100 million for the library of Narcissus....

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 3, 2014 -> 04:09 PM) I'm not sure how much legitimacy the new government in Kiev really has right now. They certainly don't have the support of a majority of Ukrainians. Eastern Ukraine? No. Western Ukraine? Yes

Ryan and Murray agreement was for a two year budget deal. So there will not be one this year. Makes sense.
-
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 07:54 PM) given that they said today that they aren't going to because they just finished a reconciliation budget deal for the next year last month... The next year already being five months old. So new fiscal year starts in October. Just wondering. I think with the election in November, no way Reid makes the Redstaters take a vote before it occurs.

What's the delta (odds) the Dems produce a budget this year?....I am at 7....for those who don't know...the lower the delta the smaller the chance.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Feb 17, 2014 -> 12:22 PM) So if the AG did file it would that mean you would stop b****ing? It will never happen because there is no political advantage for him or Narcissus if he did.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 14, 2014 -> 02:57 AM) By many accounts, she is a mean spirited B word. She has no real ideas of note. She was blah as secretary of state. She seems to me to be very elitist. What does she bring to the table besides "deserving" to be president after all her years of service. Again ... give her an award. She is an incredible commodities trader!

http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2013/12/13/...t-in-aliquippa/ One more person that should go right in the ground without a f***ing trial. A piece of s*** like this does not deserve to breathe one more second of air. And it should be as painful as possible

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 6, 2013 -> 05:08 PM) Are you opposed to buildings? Cars? Pesticides? Cats? Electric transmission? Fossil fuel extraction? . Remarkable how that gets to pretend to be a talking point against wind farms when they're actually taking strides to minimize it, whereas few to none of the others have to do so, unless you've seen some sort of effort to protect buildings from bald eagle strikes other than clear-cutting the forest nearby. You know I couldn't even count the number of dead eagles I saw downtown today there were so many. I would love to see a Catskills a bald eagle. Your liberal douchiness is astounding.

I expect nothing less from the best administration since Jefferson. Smells like Clinton/North Korea.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 23, 2013 -> 12:55 PM) This is testimony to Congress from a Judge on the 10th circuit court of appeals, Bush appointee and head of the Judicial Conference's Standing Committee on Judicial Resources, which tracks the workload and personnel needs of federal courts. He added that the DC Circuit's caseload “has been relatively steady the past ten years or so.” Former justice on that court, John Roberts, once wrote a law journal article discussing this fact and justifying counting its caseload differently since many of its appeals are from Washington agencies. Even if you just use the statistic of "total number of cases", there are 25% more or so before that court right now than in the mid-2000's when 3 of George W. Bush's nominees (including John Roberts) were confirmed to that court. By both the actual standard used by judicial resources and by a simple counting which they say is inaccurate but you want to use...it's clearly ok to fill all the seats when a Republican is in the White House but unnecessary when Democrats are. And that, of course, isn't the only one missing judges. I will look for the case load stats. Who was that judge? And I love how you put in the simple counting which doesn't mean anything. Yeah counting case loads is inaccurate. 20 cases isn't 20 cases? When you govern by regulations and commissions you need your boys to uphold your policies. Karma is a b****. Can't wait for the Dems to wet themselves when the next R puts Supremem Court Justices on the court using this Democratic method.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 23, 2013 -> 10:56 AM) At the very least, you didn't spell out at all in that post why it's a good thing that we don't have enough judges to handle the cases in front of them. That's legitimately the problem here, the judiciary is disturbingly vacant. Surely you are not referring to the DC appeals court. Take a look at their case load and tell me they need 3 more judges. It has declined steadily over the years.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 20, 2013 -> 01:59 PM) No it isn't. The Medicaid enrolees are much, much larger since they didn't have to pay anything. The numbers in that article in the 10's of thousands for the states that did things well are the numbers who paid for their plan. And just to note...that's them pre-paying. They paid for plans in November that won't start until January. So you agree with what I said. The majority of the number you cited in that article were Medicaid enrollees. Where in that article unless I missed it, does it state that people paid for their plans? I did read it quickly...
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 19, 2013 -> 08:39 AM) The states with functioning websites are either right on track for their enrollment goals or actually outpacing them. There was no reason this couldn't have worked just fine, right there's the evidence, a dozen governments are doing just fine. Thanks, Secretary Sebelius. How many people have paid for their plan? And what is the number without Medicaid enrolles, which is the majority of the number you cited.

This was nothing more than an attempt to give himself and fellow Dems political cover. Shocking right. Clueless thy name is Narcissus.
