We can't afford any more losses like we have been getting. I hope Jose has his stuff tonight and we have the power had earlier in the year.

I have been questioning Ozzie's managing quite a bit lately expecially the way he is handling the pitchers.

Does anyone think we could get Soriano for Vazquez? I know that may sound crazy but I would rather get rid of him than Brandon.

Oh brother, down 6-2 now. This is a team coming apart at the seams. I have to agree, we can kiss the playoffs goodbye this year. I'd be willing to pay Soriano's airfare to Chicago right now!! WE NEED HELP!!

Soriano would be a good one to have but I sure wouldn't trade McCarthay for him.

Alomar is a good veteran, and should be a big help as a back up catcher.

I hate to see anybody go but letting Widger go was something that we needed to be done.

What in the world do we have to do to win a game these days! I sure wouldn't have taken Thome out for a pinch runner because we could have used him in the bottom of the 9th. Also I wouldn't have put Jenks in with 2 outs in the 8th, I would have just let him pitch the 9th.

We can't leave runners in scoring position to end an inning. We're only 3 games out of 3rd place, we need to snap out of this.

Fatigue isn't the problem, all the other teams play the same number of games.

We never seemed to have recovered after being swept by the Yankees. The guys need to regroup - 6.5 back now. I am getting concerned about making the playoffs at this point. I live breath and sleep the Chicago White Sox, I can't stay away when the guys need support the most.

Back to back homers by the Rangers, we have pitching problems right now, big time! The look of things right now is making me sick.

These last 2 game have been just plain sickening. Jose pitched I good game but I think Ozzie should have taken Contreras out after 6 innings, it looked like Jose was tiring out. Also I would have had AJ pitch hit for Widger.

I'm not a fan of Widger, but I can't blame him for this loss.

Granted we have had no offense the last 2 games, but don't jump off the ship yet still a long ways to go.

We need to win this game, we can't afford to go 5.5 games behind. Remember pitchers we still have the second half of the season to go.

The Twins are the ones we have to watch out for, they're gaining ground fast. I wish we could put Vazquez in the bullpen or just get rid of him.

The ESPN announcers are pro Detroit and driving me crazy. I have heard of homer announcer but this is ridiculous. At least we're getting good pitching.

I just hope that Vazquez is at the top of his game tonight. Let's get busy and give the Tigers a good beating.

A nice win, and hopefully the starters are back on track.

This series is critical for us. I look for our Sox to go into Motown and give the Tigers a beating, a sweep is possible since we were swept out of NYC we need to make it pay back time and sweep the Motor City Kitties out of Detroit.

If it were up to me I could consider putting McCarthay in the starting rotation, as I am so so on Vazquez.

If the starting pitching don't shape up, we may be on the outside looking in during playoff time.
