  1. Any other team would have fired Dusty Baker by now. I think it is wishful thinking for the Flubs to win a game against the Tigers.
  2. Welcome to the White Sox, Riske!! Kept pace with Detroit, good job guys.
  3. I hope Sean does well after the Sox sent back down during the Texas series.
  4. Everybody hitting. Glad to see Brian Anderson get a couple of hits. I hope he will get his batting average up.
  5. The Flubs are a sad bunch, sure glad I'm not a fan of their's.
  6. The Cubs are bad. To be realistic we can't expect the Cubs to compete with the Tigers. This is the only time this year that I will pull for the Cubs.
  7. It saddened me when I read that old Tiger Stadium will be torn down. I grew up in Michigan and have some fond memories of the old ball park. I grew up as a Tiger fan before becoming a White Sox fan in 1976. From what I read the playing field will be used for a little league park and parts of the stadium it's self will be saved. When something historical is just setting there deteriorating, it is probably best that it be torn down.
  8. Never thought I would say "GO CUBS." I have to though, I would be greatful to the Cubs if they would sweep all 3 against the Tigers. LET'S GO CUBS!! Don't worry we're only Cub fans for this weekend!
  9. This was big win. Time to give the Reds a good beating.
  10. Just keeping going at them Rangers guys. Tigers won so if we can hang on we won't lose any ground.
  11. I heard some talk of it being possible but I didn't take any stock in it till I heard it official. Riske's stats look respectable, a lot of Major League experience. This trade sounds good to me.
  12. We're only seeing from a television and newspaper view point and will never know what fully happened between Ozzie and Tracey.
  13. We need a win, so we can take 3 out of 4 from Texas.
  14. I like Ozzie alot, he was one of my favorites in his playing days, but he was clearly wrong for his actions with Tracey. If Ozzie ordered Tracey to intentinally hit the Rangers batter with a pitch, it seems to me that Ozzie could face a suspension. Since it looks like Tracey was sent down to the minors, I hope he is able to put it behind him and work on his control.
  15. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 15, 2006 -> 12:13 AM) I said it before and I'll say it again. IMO Ozzie Guillen is similar to Dusty Baker when it comes to handling young players, he completely demoralized Tracey today possibly mentally f***ing the guy for years to come. That is what I am afraid might happen. I sure hope not. Perhaps sending him down to AAA might be the best thing for him at this point. 16. QUOTE(JDsDirtySox @ Jun 15, 2006 -> 12:00 AM) I am not trying to argue or anything... but he didn't try hard enough. In all honesty... I don't think Tracey wanted to hit him. I think he was a little scared of the entire situation. Do you recall Victor Martinez staring him down in the game against the Tribe after hitting two batters in a row. Again, I am not saying what Ozzie did was right, and I am not saying Tracey sucks... I like the future for Tracey assuming he can work on his control. Tonight just wasn't good... Hopefully if the situation comes up again, he will come through. From what I saw, I also got the impression that Tracey didn't want to hit the guy with a pitch. I hope that this game tonight doesn't effect Tracey. Hopefully he will be able to put it behind him.
  17. I sure wouldn't wear a Cubs cap.
  18. At least the Tigers got beat so we didn't lose any ground.
  19. We don't need any 6 game suspensions for one of our starters.
  20. QUOTE(ChiSoxLifer @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 09:11 PM) I don't think he threw at him. If you guys remember correctly he was really wild versus the Indians in that 10-8 game where the Sox scored six in the ninth inning. Wild pitch, 2 walks, 2 hits, and 2 earned runs. This was eventually the winning margin. I'm sure Ozzie took him out and was pissed because he couldn't find the strike zone. With that said, I'm sure he will be optioned back to the minors before the game is even over. Here in San Antonio, I am forced to watch the Rangers telecast of the game, and from what their annoucers said, I got the impression that Ozzie wanted Tracey to drill the Rangers batter with a pitch. Again that is according to the Rangers annoucers. I also think that he will be sent down to AAA by Thursday morning. Ozzie was pretty ticked off at him.
  21. This game is pathetic. Javier is having a bad night. It looks like he will be left in to take his lumps. Being in Texas I am forced to watch the Rangers telecast, I can't stand their announcers. Let's get some runs!!!
  22. We got another win, but it's not official till the final out which Bobby was able to get for us. I think we got things going again.
  23. Jose pitched a terrific game. Nice win. Never say die, we will catch the Tigers!

Every player makes mistakes now and then, I sure wouldn't hold it against him. It happens to the best.
