  1. Jim Thome is a monster. That guy is amazing.
  2. I became a Sox fan in 1976. My favorite sox player in the 80's was Harold Baines. the 90's Frank Thomas. The present, Paul Konerko. Actually I love all of them.
  3. Just keep hitting them out Jim Thome!
  4. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 15, 2006 -> 12:43 PM) I don't know if they'll resort to walking him that much with Paulie behind him. Good point. If they walked Thome then Konerko could rocket one out.
  5. At least we salvaged a split in the series. Good game guys.
  6. I'd love to see him break the single season record, although I think teams will start walking him and that will reduce the total to around 45 or so.
  7. I have been wondering how many home runs others think Jim Thome will hit this season? At the rate he is going, I will say 45-50.
  8. Is all that matters to me is that we got 3 outs for the price of one!
  9. Way to go Mark Buehrle!!
  10. It wasn't a pretty site, but it's a White Sox win and we'll take it. Bobby Jenks was pitching good. Mark Buehrle makes history!
  11. HE GONE!! History is made!! YES!
  12. Ok, 9-7 good guys bottom of the 8th. Let's hang on to this now.
  13. All tied up!!! Keep pounding away guys!
  14. I wish we could put Greg Walker and Harold Baines in the line up right now.
  15. It seems to me that the pitching hasn't been the same since Contreras got hurt. Get well soon, Jose!
  16. Down 7-3 at the end of the first inning. I wish this was only a bad dream. This pitching staff needs a wake up call.
  17. 29 runs allowed in 3 games, that's alot. Come on Mark we need you to put a stop to this.
  18. It's time to get things together and put a stop to this 3 game losing skid.
  19. When the Sox aren't on WGN or ESPN, then I have to sit infront of my computer.
  20. I also hope it works. We need Jose back in the rotation.
  21. QUOTE(CYGarland @ May 13, 2006 -> 08:34 PM) Don't worry, the Tigers won't keep this up all year........ Trust me I agree with you. Don't worry about the Tigers, there is no way they will be able to keep up at the pace there at all season. I remember back in 1975 I think it was, the Tigers were in first place at the all star break then finished in last place. They'll fade.
  22. I have seen worse games then this, but this one is sickening.
  23. Thank goodness for WGN, down here in San Antonio the only time I get to see the Sox on TV is either WGN or ESPN. I prefer WGN so I can listen to our own announcers.
  24. It looks like Ozzie is letting Garland take his lumps either that or resting the bullpen. Oh well, can't win em all.
