Thomas takes high road in response to Williams
We should just forget about it and concentrate on the up coming season.

No Hall for Minnie
I'm a little ticked off that Minnie didn't get in. He knows that White Sox fans love him. I hope he gets in sometime while he is still alive.

Kenny Fires Back At Frank
QUOTE(Wanne @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 01:39 AM) Don't s*** yourself...Frank's keeps flappin his gums...and it'll be a hell of alot longer than 3 years. I agree with you 100%, he Frank keeps mouthing off it may be 5 years before his number is retired. Kenny isn't forget this for long time believe me. I don't blame Kenny for firing back. So would I. When someone knocks the White Sox in front of me, I fire back.

Funny Wrigley picture
That is a real nice picture.

Kenny Fires Back At Frank
KW wasn't about to keep quiet for long before he lashed out also. Ozzie was smart by not having a comment. I knew this was going to a popular topic here but 236 post WOW!! That's a lot.

Big Hurt still hurt
It's very sad. Not the way I wanted his playing days to end. Most us on this board will always remember Frank for all the homeruns he hit and for the days that he made happy for us.

Interesting Bobby Jenks Article
Interesting article. Thanks for scanning and posting it. Looking back at how Kenny took a chance on him and now Bobby is part a important part of this team and part of White Sox history.

Sox Broadcast Schedule
Being in Texas, 29 games on WGN is better than none at all, plus some on ESPN.

Sox Broadcast Schedule
Terrific. I will print it out.

Iguchi out of WBC to concentrate on offense
Glad to hear that. Sounds like a true team player and wants to get even better.

Rotation Order
I voted for the first one. It don't matter much to me, it is still a excellent pitching rotation regardless.

Ozzie tabs Buehrle as Opening Day starter
I'm not surprised that he chose Buehrle. One I thought of also was Garcia.

Contreras must rely on own confidence
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 18, 2006 -> 02:43 AM) I just don't buy into the El Duque hype. Yeah, it's nice to have a friend around or whatever. But there's something wrong with you if your performance is effected, whether is be positive or negative, by having your friend or friends around. I have to agree if having a friend around like El Duque shouldn't affect his performance. If it effects his performance than it's time to shop him around.

Baines/Raines Flipflop
I have always been a big fan of Harold Baines. As long as both are on the coaching staff. Ozzie knows what he's doing, it's a interesting move.

Baines/Raines Flipflop
I looked through whitesox.com and saw nothing on it there. The flipflop just wouldn't make sense to me. When I see it on whitesox.com, I'll believe it.

ESPN Report: Sham-me Sosa Retires
I always liked Sammy, but that corked bat incident seemed to be the beginning of the end for him. Hey Hey Hey Good bye!

Proposed Batting Order
QUOTE(pale_hose @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 12:24 PM) Let's here what everyone's ideal batting order would be and why...here's mine: if you disagree, thats cool...go sox! 1) Podsednik: of course our best baserunner and a guy w/.351 obp is hitting 1st 2) Iguchi: will start the season #2, but will move down to 6 or 7 to get more RBI chances 3) Thome: powerful lefty and according to Dusty Baker, who is a complete idiot, you have to go left, right, left in the order 4) Konerko: a great place for our captain 5) Dye: very clinch. posted a lot of k's and low walks, but this year he will be more patient like he was during the playoffs 6) Pierzynski: this guy just rocks 7) Uribe: starts low in the order, but will switch with Iguchi later in the season 8) Crede: could hit either 8 or 9 to get the lineup around. also seems to be fairly clinch 9) Anderson: not expected to do much, but will put up Rowand-like numbers from last year. will meet and probably pass expectations. could switch with Crede or Uribe in the order. I like that batting lineup. However Ozzie has the final say!! LOL.

2 Million tickets already sold
That is terrific!!! 2 million tickets sold and still a ways till the season starts. That's what happens when you win the World Series! I wonder if 3 million is a possibility?

ESPN Report: Sham-me Sosa Retires
Sosa sure went down hill quick. It seems when steroids were made illegal in baseball he went became just a ordinary player in a hurry.

New Wallpapers
Wow, that is quite White Sox tribute you got there. Really impressive.

Sox Claim Rusty Tucker off waivers
Since we got him off waivers, we have everything to gain and not a whole lot to lose. Remember the Sox picked Bobby Jenks off waivers and the rest is White Sox history! I like this move the Sox made.

Twins beyond the Metrodome?
That looks like it will be one nice looking ball park, if it gets built.

The Cubs scam their fans AGAIN
QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 02:26 PM) Why would you want to give your money to the Cubs in the first place? I did a poor job of wording my previous message. I wouldn't give the Cubs a nickel actually that is too much!! I worded messages wrong before but that one was the worst.
-
The Cubs scam their fans AGAIN
That price is crazy, $60 to watch the Cubs lose!!! I love to see the Cubs lose but at that price I'd rather watch it on TV!! Geez, that's ridiculous!!

Question about spring training games
I'm a transplanted Sox fan in Texas and I usually get a spring training game or two on WGN.
