My first post says who we got for Goose and Forster For Downing we got Bobby Bonds, Thad Bosley and Richard Dotson For Buford we got Luis Aparicio back, Russ Snyder and John Matias

White Flag wasn't bad. None of those players stayed with San Francisco

Ok people, Here's a chance to give your opinion on the worst/best trades the Sox have made through the years, If ya can give a reason why. Worst: Goose Goosage and Terry Forster to Pittsburgh for Richie Zisk and P Silvio Martinez, December 10th, 1976 We all know the story on Goose and Forster was decent untill 1985. Zisk did hit 30 homers for the South side hitmen of 1977, but was gone after that When he signed with Texas. Carrer ended in 1983 with Seattle. Martinez only pitched 22 innings for the Sox in 1977, after that he was gone too.

I don't think cause he was talking about trading with Seattle

I guess that's the worst trade and i say he's learned from it a bit. Another Bad thing about kenny is that he tends to overpay on contracts

I would rather have an "okay" roster that overachieves than a "great" roster that underachieves That would be so Fun. A la 1990. Those type of seasons are fun when you ain't expected to do s*** and you really shut up the world

Jose didn't hardly play. When he did he put pressure on himself cause the Team really sucked this year. He'll be fine come spring training. The Season is over for him down here and the last 6-7 games he DHed and played 1st

Jose didn't hit for Average but he hit 8 homers and played everywhere. The team last year won the title and it was a smallball team. I think Jose hit .200 last year. I'm looking up the Ryan thing on the Whitesox site
