IMO, he has being just terrible for us, taking out that July. His AVG. is right now: .229!!! I hope next year we trade him, if we cant trade him...a normal season like 24 HRs and 90 RBIS is good for us. But this season, he is the worst hitter in our team. Even the always hated Jimenez hit better than him.

Let's see: in July he had a .342 AVG, .372 OBP, 7 HR, 24 RBIs. In August: .259 AVG, .305 OBP, 2 HRs, 8 RBIs. Pre All-Star: .197 AVG, .267 OBP, 5 HRs, 22 RBIs. 14 GIDP!!! Post All-Star: .305 AVG, .342 OBP, 7 HRs, 27 RBIs. 6 GIDP!!! Definitely, seeing this numbers, he is one-month hitter. He is getting back to his mediocre hitter that he was before the break. He just has one month good. Daubach should be geting more play time, in DH and Frank in 1B.

Why you want a guy that has 20 GIDP playing in the line up? For him GIDP in the next bases loaded situation?

That's exactly what I keep telling myself. They got lucky their schedule is easy in the beginning. Then again they were 1-3 last season and still made the playoffs, so anything could happen. As for Brooking, he's not a top tier LB. I think he has the potential to, but he's really a 2nd tier guy. Of course by top tier I mean Urlacher and Lewis. 2nd tier is the best of the rest, right where Brooking fits in. IMO, i think he is in the same level. The Falcons will go to the playoffs.

I will have to wait to see it tomorrow!

If this numbers are in the prime of his career, why today's numbers are similar??? He hits much better when he is in 1B. JM doesnt think this way and that's why he puts Frank in DH. And that's why he is a s*** manager because he wants to show to his players that he has no excuse to not be playing in 1B.
