  1. Anyone see the babe up dancing behind the plate?
  2. AJ with the double play, but going the other way hard. Maybe a good sign.
  3. Good thing A.J. wears a mask when he catches.
  4. It's Hawk's birthday, causing D.J. to sing. Now they show Hawk's son in the booth. Is it me, or does he look like D.J.?
  5. Generous call on 1-1 pitch to Youkilis. Thank you.
  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 4, 2006 -> 06:17 PM) We look awesome so far. Indeed.
  7. QUOTE(beautox @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 04:17 PM) Bright spot, Vazquez pitched well. Yeah. And the fact that he's pitched so badly lately leads us to take him out after the 6th, go to Thornton in the 7th (not the 8th). Whatever. Just aggravating as hell.
  8. This is one we'll probably be remembering on about October 1. Lucky to win 2 of 3. On to Kansas City. Crap.
  9. QUOTE(S720 @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 04:11 PM) It's not that I do want to give up BMAC, but according to quite a few people on here, BMAC is our future CY. That my friend will not be happening! When I see him pitch, he just look averaged to me. I trade BMAC for Liriano or Verlander in an 1/10000000000th of a heartbeat! The man should be starting. Starting.
  10. Pods continues as the slowest fast guy in baseball.
  11. Mack with the predicted strikeout.
  12. QUOTE(Balance @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 02:51 PM) Tell us more about Gooch's relay throw. Objectively, did he have a chance to make a good throw to first and turn it? Yes. The runner was bearing down, but he had the chance.
  13. Gotta say that Vazquez made the pitch. Iguchi had a bad throw, Gload no help on the pick.
  14. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 02:46 PM) On Navarro? Um, no. I thought it was. It was down, but it never broke. Am I wrong?
  15. Thornton is warming up. He should be in the game right now.
  16. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 02:45 PM) BTW, tho, that pitch was junk that Navarro hit. Hung a 1-2 curveball.
  17. Navarro doubles. Rosters expand tomorrow. More bullpen depth is coming. This is a big game. Don't mess around. Get him out.
  18. D.J. taking 4 attempts to say Navarro. Still really didn't get it.
  19. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 02:36 PM) If the Sox don't score here, Vazquez should be allowed one base runner next inning. Nope. He comes out now.
  20. I'm going to say it: nice job, Vazquez.
  21. QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 02:30 PM) 4th of July game, wasn't it? That might be my least favorite White Sox game ever.
  22. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 02:28 PM) Chris Young was hitting leadoff already for the D-Backs last night. Had a web gem in CF. Yes, he did.
  23. I agree that Vaz didn't get a lot of support from the defense in that inning. But he has not done a good job from the stretch all year. It's one of the reasons you have to wonder how you'd do out of the pen. It's funny. I always feel that Vazquez could go out and totally dominate a team, which I never think with Garcia. But I also feel like he's also likely to have a terrible inning every time some runners get on.
  24. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 02:20 PM) Ive been watching Javy ever since he came into the MLB. Unlike most fans I just dont trash players for no reason. From what I can recall the Sox gave TB an extra out that inning with the pop up and Javy only gave up 1 run. Boo f***ing hoo Tell me how great Chris Young is again. Okay. He's great. Thanks for playing.
