For who the options were, on the big league team, it made sense. Now, if you want to argue that it seemingly was a stupid, not thought out choice to add him to the 40 and bring him up, I think you have a pretty good case. But he is the right one to be sent back down.

Its the move to make. Not many other options here... Leury? - HAH, good one. He is going nowhere for another 2 years Burger? - He'll be an ok bat off the bench, and back at 3rd when Yoan inevitably winces after trotting from the field to the dugout, or something Sheets? - No chance in hell they can send Sheets back down, considering the current makeup of the bench Haesley? - Yeah, he sucks. But we have no real backup outfielders right now.
