The real sad thing? There are only 4 organizations that are below us, in terms of largest contract in franchise history: Athletics, Indians, Royals, Pirates, all ones you would expect. I'm so ready for a new regime.

Sad, knowing that with 1 signing (Conforto), Hahn/ownership could have almost the entire fandom, stoked about the season. But we spent that money on a closer we didn't need. Most of us are still pretty excited about the season, but man....talk about not taking advantage of your window.

Graveman was done before the CBA. The 15.5 MILLION we've given to the 3 guys post-CBA, could almost pay for a real RFer.

Basically, everyone we've signed after the CBA, most likely would still be available after the REAL needs were filled...MAYBE not Kelly, but probably so.

At least, for the 40-50 games he can play, before injury sets in.
