This offseason has been fun stuff so far for the White Sox, huh?!?

You ARE aware that Leary hit .337 in Sep/Oct, right?

Leury was at 3.5 mil this past season, this deal is going to be 3/14-16 I would think (and hope).

Because at worst (ugh), they can claim Leury is the 2B, and we still need a RFer. Hopefully not the case, and they let him stay as super sub.

Man....we should look into getting one of those types!

Rick Hahn to player agents this week:

Yeah, we need to dumb down the postseason even more....

Texas out here throwing money around all over. We're in the couch cushions, looking for a quarter to spend.

Imagine making 43 mil from your current team, and then another 15 mil a year for the team you play against? What a world.

On that one, you and I will always 100% agree on. Terrible, terrible move.

Who needs Robbie Ray, when you have the current version of Dallas Keuchel?

Gotta admit, rather embarrassing to not even see the Sox attached to ANYONE really, that has signed. "Resting on our laurels, boys. Heck, we made the playoffs 2 years in a row, we are fine!"

How does Madrigal look, compared to our current second baseman?

Listen, Kimbrel is a GREAT option, as long as you ONLY let him pitch the 9th, have exactly a 2 run lead, it isn't raining, the day is Tuesday-Thursday, and it is after Labor Day. Its so easy to see.

Yeah, even worse, once you factor Heuer in. What a debacle.

Feels like a very White Sox thing to do, to turn Nick Madrigal and his 5+ years of control at minimum salary, into Jean Segura, 14.25 million salary and 1 year, whilst getting a terrible half a season from a closer they didn't need.

Player opt out? Yeah, I'm SURE he will use that....Mets are out here playing 4-d chess against themselves.

Surprising that Scherzer's issues with fatigue in the post season, didn't hurt his value at all. I mean, clearly the best pitcher available, and a great one at that. But...pushing the AAV so far beyond the existing one is some sort of risk for sure.

Except statistically, he has been WORSE away from home. I hate the signing, and glad it was someone else, but who knows, it may completely turn him.

Ahem, Rick Hahn?

I'm saying, leave it to Texas to sign bad deals, so we don't have to.

Woof. That is terrible, but leave it to Texas to sign bad deals.

7 years......woof. I wouldn't want any part of that.
