  1. Its NP, as we have Morel then Dunn up next inning.
  2. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 17, 2012 -> 09:32 PM) JDINAA This is correct.
  3. Annnnnnnnnnnnnd....theres an insurance run. I can't do anything but laugh right now, because I know that there is no chance in hell we score 3 runs tonight with this lineup.
  4. That Adam Dunn, totally deserves to play against lefties.
  5. Dunn didn't K, so thats a start. And yeah, Morel can't catch a break at all.
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 17, 2012 -> 05:41 PM) So we're 5-4 with these guys not possibly being able to do any worse, and this season with a new manager being keyed by whether or not these guys are developing. Great. Seems like a surefire case for playing them everyday to me. Playing Morel is one thing..playing Morel 2nd in the order is borderline insanity....the whole 'doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result' comes to mind.
  7. 4 innings, and 3 HRs given up to righties...perhaps something non-fastballish needs to be called on the righties...crazy idea I know.
  8. OK this is getting a bit too close for comfort...
  9. Dunn is under EVERY SINGLE fastball thrown to him.
  10. PK is a professional hitter. Took what he got and worked with it.
  11. Humber looking to get to 100 pitches in the 5th inning apparently.
  12. Regardless of whether Morel had a shot there or not, its painfully obvious he is NOT the solution in the 2 hole. Who is? No idea, we have a lot of high K rate guys, so even if De Aza gets on, we have 2 Ks right behind him potentially. And that ball was crushed by Reynolds.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 16, 2012 -> 09:02 PM) Did you see the called 2nd strike 8 inches off the outside corner? He had to try to slap at that ball because the umpire already called it a strike that at bat. I did, but once Morel has 2 strikes on him, there is no fight whatsoever.
  14. #)(%*#@%)%#@ damnit Brent Morel, what the hell?
  15. Oh Gordo, of years past, where have ye gone...
  16. When Dunn gets down in the count 0-2, I can pretty much see what else is on TV for 2-3 minutes.
  17. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 16, 2012 -> 08:15 PM) Phil bringing the heat. I don't remember him consistently throwing 92-93 MPH in the 2nd half last year. Still has that dreaded Uncle Charlie, too. Hard to blame the fans too much, it's the Orioles, after all. They showed up this weekend, especially on Sunday. But April games (weeknight) are always difficult. Yeah, I think we all saw Humber wear down pretty roughly in the 2nd half last year.
