Our effort against Santana just makes me lol to myself...I don't understand the approach at all.

There is no logic whatsoever in keeping BA on the team, never letting him play, instead of starting him in AAA and keeping Perez when it was painfully obvious our hitting vs. LHP was absolute s***.

Like I said pregame, I'm so happy Thome gets to start against Santana to try his lift and pull approach on a guy he can't touch.

And now Santana settles in, which is great news for us.

One of the 2 teams in the ballpark makes adjustments the 2nd time around against a pitcher, one doesn't(I'm looking at you, hook em long Thome).

Second time through the lineup always catches us against the Twins.

3 walks for Johan in 2 IP, and we are letting him off the hook...the walks won't continue, make him pay!

Santana has pretty crap control so far here, the tight strike zone isn't helping(well not helping him!!) Lets use it to our advantage guys!

20-25 pitches an inning is gonna kill Danks, lets hope he gets a few 12-15 pitch innings coming up

The combination of Danks getting behind 2-0 on each hitter, plus Santana throwing first pitch strike on us is going to catch up in a hurry.

Anderson isn't playing today(or ever apparently). Low and away, why doesn't every pitcher in baseball know that is all you have to do to get our guys out.

I never like to concede games, but this is one I won't be yelling at my PC if we lose. I just want to see Danks show that he was the right choice for the 5th spot, keep us in the game, and see if we can get a few breaks.

I think its just not worth skipping ahead in the rotation to Jose knowing that he threw about as bad a game as I've seen him throw, results-wise. Lets see what Danks can do here against a guy that has notoriously owned us.

Or at least gave AJ the game off, he won't hit Johan at all...seemed like a good time to get him a day off.

Maggs absolutely raked against Johan: 13 for 33, 3 2B, 1 3B, 3 HR, 12 RBI, .394 BA and .405 OBP

Somehow I totally missed Ozunas numbers against Johan. 10 for 31, 3 doubles, .323 BA and .364 OBP

The Indians are IMO the most talented team in the division, they'll get their wins regardless of makeup games. There is a helluva lot of talent in Cleveland, bad news for us.

Frank is what made me follow this franchise to start with, so I will always be backer #1 of the Big Hurt getting that 500th HR, no chemicals needed, and going into the Hall with that Sox hat on proudly.
