Capn12

Its still Big 10 football, so does it really matter?

going to some place named the Cricket Arena in Charlotte Friday to see the Foos yet again. They announced and sold out the US cities for the tour with very little time between ticket sales and actual shows.

We'll see what Kentucky really has when their passing offense faces off against the #1 Passing Defense in the nation thursday night. If my boys take Kentucky out, everything sets up VERY nice for a SEC East Championship run.

OK, I bought My Name is Earl Season 1 from Best Buy to pick up on my way home from work. I've never seen the show, tell me I did the right thing?

As of right now, there is only a 7 episode, mid season replacement order on for Jericho, sadly. So fans have to be sure to do all they can to tune in live during the 7 episodes, so that it continues.

Its back, but as I have heard, only as a midseason replacement for some other failed show to come. They will gauge(no pun intended) the viewing ratings then, and go from there. That was the last plan I read, but it may have changed. It was such a crock for that show to ever get cancelled, and then in its place, CBS produces some drivel called Kid Nation?!?! GMAFB

Hah, I was gonna say something like that. We(South Carolina) like to change unis about every 2 years it seems, it gets old as a fan, you can't create any 'tradition' or prestige when you want to change crap every 1-2 years.

BD, you can make it to where you and your friends, or anyone online, can jump into the middle of your game of Halo 3.

I've been waiting for Jericho for a LONG time. Was part of the campaign to bring it back after CBS unjustly cancelled it. Others on my list include.....nothing really. I don't watch much syndicated TV. Maybe The Office if I can catch up with it in time. I was able to not see 1 episode of Heroes until the entire Season 1 came out on HD DVD, and then watched it all at once. I'm a big fan now, but trying to wait for that to happen to Season 2(I know, long wait in store). Oh, and I watch any Gordon Ramsey show as well, he amuses me.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 24, 2007 -> 07:09 PM) Gamespot gave Halo 3 a 9.5 out of 10. I'm not a big Halo guy, but sounds pretty fun. It IS fun Tony, take it from a first time Halo player. I enjoyed it thoroughly, solo campaign was a bit short, but online is going to be great with Halo

Halo 3, beaten in 1.5 days. But I will say it was a fantastic game, and loads of fun to play. I'm sure that anyone that buys it will not be disappointed.

Does it make you envious if I tell you I'm about half way done with Halo 3 already? It was delivered to me today(Saturday). And before you say "Yeah whatever, it doesnt come out until Tuesday." I will say that it was a Pontiac "Be the first to own Halo 3" contest.

This just in.... *Newsflash* Mississippi State's QB is absolutely god awful. 4 INTs in teh first half. Now, LSUs defense is good, but he is making some VERY bad throws. Luckily for Miss. St, their defense is a quality unit. Only 10 points to show for 4 turnovers so far.

Hmm, alot of the reviews read the same so far. Zombie couldn't decide between remaking the original, or making a prequel, so he did a sham job of doing both. Dampens my excitement over the project a little bit.

Well lets be honest here...what exactly was the 'mystery' behind Michael Myers? That he was pure evil, from an early age? It never really made any sense to most of us how he was able to survive an exploding fiery building, shot in both eyes, and yet could see just fine from part 4 on. I'm not necessarily a Zombie fan, but I'll at least give it a chance and not go by what Variety says. Its Rob Zombie, everyone knows its going to be mostly gore and blood.

QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Aug 27, 2007 -> 03:26 PM) Leave it to nerds on this message board to call Kate Hudson "beyond ugly." She's no supermodel, but that's a stretch. But you're cool though, you've got pictures of random girls you find on the internet as your avatar... ladies' man! Haha!! Thats kinda what I was thinking here as I read that.

QUOTE(OilCan @ Aug 26, 2007 -> 07:17 PM) ACL Fest next weekend in Austin, TX....wish I was going.... Muse, The White Stripes, Queens of the Stone Age (whose new CD Era Vulgaris totally rocks), Spoon among others that will attend. Still REALLY wanting to see Muse myself, but can't ever work it out.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Aug 26, 2007 -> 09:32 PM) I agree with the person who said Half Life was way better than Halo. Half Life 2 was simply the best 1st person shooter I've ever played hands down. And I can't wait for Episode 2 to come out next year. That along with GTAIV are the 2 games I'm most hanging out for ATM. Also, can I ask how much a Nintendo Wii is currently over there ATM? $250, IF you can find one DBAH0. I bought one long ago and don't play it much. Hell, I have Super Paper Mario still in plastic, and I've played Mario Strikers Charged once since buying it. I'm telling you guys, if you are up late at night and live in the states, buy your games from Jellyfish.com, its in my sig. I paid $36 for Mario Strikers Charged new, and $21 for NFS:Carbon on the 360, new. Right now, I am addicted to the HD-DVDs on the 360, not playing alot of games.

Halo doesnt interest me, never did. I'm looking forward to Turning Point:Fall of Liberty though, I like games with a "what if?" storyline.

360 runs Madden at 60 FPS, PS3 at a whopping 30 FPS.

Look at the difference in Myers numbers away from Yankee stadium....blech. G GS W L SV CG SHO IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP BAA Home 31 0 2 0 0 0 0 26.2 20 4 2 0 10 13 0.68 1.13 .208 Away 24 0 1 0 0 0 0 14.0 18 10 10 3 6 8 6.43 1.71 .310

New Foo soon. All is right in my world.

I may be one of a small minority, but I'm REALLY looking forward to August 31st....Halloween by Rob Zombie. He has been waiting and wanting to do a Halloween "Michael Myers revisited" type movie for a while. I've not missed a Halloween premeire at the theater since Halloween 4 all those years ago.

Bioshock looks absolutely ridiculous. As soon as I'm back in the states, thats a must buy.

Have to admit, Dye's power is still there. The money kinda-sorta scares me, with Thome still on the books. We have a s***ton wrapped up in a handful of players. If we don't keep some money to use on a real bullpen, we're back at square one.
