Both those outs were hit pretty hard on Montero, only got the 1st out due to defensive placement.

QUOTE(tealeafreaderii @ Jun 18, 2006 -> 12:23 PM) A sunday line up without Pablo??? A little piece of me just died. Pablo must be now classified as a 'tweener!! Too good for Sunday lineup duty, not quite good enough for a starting position!! A man without a role!

Was Anderson hurt?
I don't think any of us would rather have Mack instead of BA in CF, but Oz was trying to play National League baseball, out-thinking himself. He probably in hindsight, shoulda realized a 3 run lead in theory SHOULD be safe, and you don't switch, and you DO leave your best defensive team on the field. At least it didn't cost us.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) So, in Ozzie's eyes, is Thornton now the lefty setup man? He seems to get more opportunities in the late innings than Cotts recently. That could just be my perception, though. Good problem to have right now, as both of our lefty relievers are bringing it well atm.
