  1. Gives me the opportunity to tell everyone just how much I really love Pods.. what an amazing LFer and leadoff hitter.
  2. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jun 13, 2006 -> 08:30 PM) Dumbass, next inning you're getting your ass kicked next inning, if ... ... Well it IS Garland kap, I mean I'm not a friggin miracle worker!!
  3. Garland not looking too bad honestly...5 of 6 outs on groundballs.
  4. Gave in and bought the mlb.tv...yet again.. Loe has nice movement tonight...lets not wave at pitches all night.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 13, 2006 -> 08:14 PM) Thru one batter, Garland has nothing on his pitches. It's amazing to compare his sinker to guys like Westbrook and Webb. Well he did induce 3 ground balls there. I don't have the tv feed, so only going by gamecast =/
  6. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jun 13, 2006 -> 06:08 PM) Word. If he does that, we'll see the 18 win Jon Garland. However, I will say that the last time Jon was on the bump in Arlington, I was there. And he got SHELLED. This is not his park to pitch in if memory serves (besides the one game). Your memory is correct...almost a 2.0 WHIP, and just overall suckiness...lets hope it changes!!
  7. Well, I DO feel a bit better with AJ behind the plate. With Garlands fickle psyche, we need any advantage we can get. AJ will make him throw inside.
  8. Loe got absolutely shellacked in his last start in KC...KC!!! 2.2 IP, 8 ER
  9. I posted one of these in last nights winner thread, but wanted to rehash it again... and Take what you want from those...Garland has flat out sucked on the road.
  10. Click Me! Cross-referenced, for your pleasure!!

    Films

Kinda an old movie now, but I find myself watching "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou" alot these days. I never appreciated it before, but man George Clooney, John Turturro, and Tim Blake Nelson are amazingly perfect counterparts to each other in this movie. If you have never bothered to check it out, I really recommend it.
  12. QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Jun 13, 2006 -> 01:59 AM) I have no confidence in Jon tommorow. Prove me wrong Garland. And for good reason. Jonny G's splits this year: Thats a hellaciously putrid road mark there. Time to work on that Jon!
  13. 2 hits for Uribe? Maybe this ballpark is just what we needed.
  14. Sox better win this game tonight, as my USC boys are getting taken behind the woodshed currently. Just way too young I guess.
  15. Contreras with a horrid pitch location there, and Barajas scalds it outta here. 6-3 game now
  16. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 12, 2006 -> 08:00 PM) Remember when half the board wanted to trade him to Houston for a middle reliever and Taveras? That would have been a disaster. Us at Soxtalk, with a kneejerk trade reaction?? No way!!
  17. Nice, USC ties it up with Georgia. And Jose, dare I say, is on right now.
  18. Hey, 2-1 Georgia now... True Jas, but 8 HRs in the first game, then they absolutely collapsed in the 2nd game after being up 4-0. This team is so so young.
  19. I'm glad the Sox are off to a good start. USC looking rather lost right now against Georgia
